I personally think a lot of it is lack of continuity. 12 different starting lineups. Got most of these guys late summer. Tech has been building a few years. We returned NOTHING from last yr except Jennings who is hurt & out for the year. Going to take a few years to build. Love the glimpses of positivity, hoping we can toughen up collectively and make a splash!

They will beat the bad teams and lose to the good teams. Thats who they have shown to be. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of bad teams in the Big 12. They will win a few though. Played pretty poorly and still scored 80. Not a lot of teams are going to make 17 threes in a game.

"Your taking a lot of individual shots rather than working with your teammates to get the best shot for us to win. I thought that we took ill advised, unpredictable, and selfish shots and I think that that killed us."

A zone defense will make three point shots even easier.
We’ve actually gotten better in a couple of places. Have a couple of guards who will fight over screens now. The problem is on the backend when you need communication and rotation. We’ve got some guys that just don’t get it and they get exposed and make the whole thing break down.

Maybe. The corner shooters will get open looks against a 3-2, and a drive and kick will also lead to some open looks.
Our help defense leaves us vulnerable to teams that can move the ball quickly to the weak side, or who make effective skip passes. Both OU and Tech move the ball well to open shooters in rhythm, and both teams had very good three point shooting games. I think we need to do a better job anticipating ball movement and a better job hustling to the shooter. Anyone else have thoughts?
