Ha! The Mariano Rivera of Cowboy football.Relief pitcher!!!
Would be a great hire imo.If you want an experienced veteran OC Kevin Wilson is now available. Tulsa fired him this morning.
There's a school down south that wants him back.If you want an experienced veteran OC Kevin Wilson is now available. Tulsa fired him this morning.

Not exactly a clone but would love to get him.I feel like Presley is the only dude who has never hung his head all year.
Can we clone him?
Yeah. There should be a clause that if you go 0-fer in conference play that the buyouts are void.Don't know, should be zero, they didn't get it done.
I'm confused. From the article:Not exactly a clone but would love to get him.
Oklahoma State Offers 2026 Bixby DB Braeden Presley
The stark reality of the Cowboys future on the gridiron is up in the air. Can Oklahoma State bounce back in 2025 following one of the worst football seasons inwww.si.com
Also 5A??I'm confused. From the article:
"A majority of his highlights have come on the defensive side of the football. He has 27 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble in 2024 for a Bixby team who is searching for yet another Class 5A State Championship."
I meant clone in the sense of his attitude and physical abilities. He is actually quite a bit taller than his older brothers and will more likely play DB though he is good at WR as well.I'm confused. From the article:

If I remember right, Dickey and Dunn's contract expire at the same time. Nardo's also expires at the end of next year. He signed a 3 year deal at the beginning of 2023.Dickey's contract only has 1 more year on it. I'm not sure about Dunn and Nardo.
If they are all down to the last year of a contract they shouldn't be that expensive to buy or negotiate out.If I remember right, Dickey and Dunn's contract expire at the same time. Nardo's also expires at the end of next year. He signed a 3 year deal at the beginning of 2023.
Edit: I just don't see us forking over the money to terminate all 3 contracts early. What's unfortunate is that I don't know how you keep Nardo, although I will say that I do think he's better than what the defense showed. We dealt with injuries at key positions in this defense basically all year, and then we were playing with a liability at the other key position in Daniels. It sucks, but it is what it is. He has to go, along with Dickey. Out of all of our coaches, none did less with more than Dickey. He should've never finished the season, let alone be considered for employment for one second more.
Which unfortunately means I would be keeping Dunn around, but it at least comes with the upside that it's likely we keep one of our young QBs around. Dunn, despite everywhere he's deficient, at least can run an offense with a talented QB (or manage to not get in the way too much, I guess). If I had to keep one, it would be him and unless we see major improvement, his contract isn't renewed the year after.
There should be a clause in every coordinators contract that if their group ranks in the bottom 20% of applicable categories, that is cause for removal. I know it will never happen. If they are all down to the last year of a contract they shouldn't be that expensive to buy or negotiate out.
