2025 Recruiting Thread

No that was designed more to get new OL in and we it actually wasn't a huge need anyway. The problem with the OL is almost exclusively a coach problem. That should not be an issue moving forward...
Wasn’t a huge need? We have 4-5 long term starters who have sacrificed their bodies for years and been torn apart physically and keep coming back. I would assume none of the senior linemen get an NFL look. A school that’s predominantly been a top 25 program the past 15 years should have a couple NFL prospects on the line, especially with the pay to play and fundraising efforts.

Also, what’s the story with Jason Brooks? Gundys mid season presser said Brooks wanted to redshirt. Brooks replied LOL on that tweet that day then was in portal the next day. I thought he had NFL potential…

Why would we go get guys that wouldn't be played anyway even if they are better than the starters/favorites? That is what I mean by not a huge need. That and the question you asked about Brooks again comes back to the problem at OL coach.
