Sorry to pick on you PokeBloke, I think you're a very quality poster on this board. I guarantee you could go find more than a few negative posts from me too. It's just funny going back and reading some replies in this and other threads. We have to give the coaches credit, they've really shifted the perception of this program from where it was just a few months ago.

It was forced. I give Gundy zero credit for making the change because he was given ultimatums. He didn’t fire his staff from last year because he wanted to. Wealthy people got together and forced his hand. The concert provided multiple comma amounts of money (few million) and this is allowing coaches to offer $100k, $200k, $250k etc to solid transfers. My comments were made before the concert. Without that money MG was out the door whether voluntary or involuntary. The money is saving his job like so many other coaches. Concert series was amazing and I hope we become the Nashville of the Midwest! Soooo much potential in STW with country festivals!!! So I do give him credit, just felt without this saving grace ($) he was out the door
