2024-25 Offseason thread

The roster for the Bay City Batz in that softball league says that Kutz plays for the University of St Thomas-Houston (?) and that Graf plays for Wichita State. Error?

It also says Katie Lott plays for Oklahoma State so I'd say whoever made the roster didn't pay much attentnion to detail

Bay City Batz pitchers has a total of 24 strikeouts and Katie Kutz has 20 of them.

I was hoping that we get Lassiter. She did have interest of coming to Stillwater but was told last week that she has interest in LSU.

It might be Graf in CF next yr.

I did see a video clip on Twitter(X) that Lexi McDonald is working out at a training facility in Durant. Looks like working on her quickness and speed. Throwing ball against the wall or course getting stronger as well.

End of another week at the Lone Star Collegiate League. Here is the updated stats of our current Cowgirls who are playing.

Hathoot hit .382 for New Mexico last year and was named first team all Mountain West SHORTSTOP.....uh oh. Kenny G means business. Looks like she may be a true leadoff hitter, with the high average but only 2HR and 12RBI (there may not have been many Lobos to drive in).

Her field stats seem pretty comparable to Bloodworth. Both had a .935 fielding percentage. Feels like a pretty significant upgrade.

Katie's strikeouts per inning is impressive and shows the potential is there to be really good. Still too many walks though.
It’s a little high but she has done better as of late. In her first 10.2 IP she has walked 7 batters. In her last 18 IP only 6.
