US continues to go forward

So now do you realize and understand that Bernie’s plan does next to nothing to make “billionaires pay their fair share”?? At least to the extent of whatever “fair share” socialist believe is “fair”.
Or are you going to continue to celebrate meaningless press releases?
Socialist my a$$. Run away capitalism seems the more enormous problem. The oligarchy writes the rules and puts in place Congress critters to shove their self serving garbage down our collective throats. Once in place the Heritage Foundation determines which judges to select and tell the puppets to follow Project 2025. Oh, and money is now free speech just speeds the process the rich desire. Now an unpaid and unelected oligarch is destroying our agencies with a flamethrower because it’s easier that actually fixing the problem. Apparently, it’s a lot easier to get elected than to govern.

Ahh, that is how Bernie Sanders described himself. I was using his own term for himself.
I can’t imagine living in your world where only the rich thrive and everyone else is on their own. Altruism, chivalry, fair play, and truth are dead. The self serving promoters of this rampant turn away from values outnumber the socialist considerably. Hell, I guess we’re experiencing the inequality now. maga 🤢🤮😡

Clarence Thomas with a not horrible opinion. The limits on ability to sue the gov for injuries etc when on active duty was always something I wasn't a fan of. I get in combat or similar roles, but medical care should have been exempt from that.

I'm sure Steross is gonna eat me alive for this, but we always joked that Navy docs and dentists just served to save themselves from malpractice lawsuits.

Tax all income types equally based on value at time of award.
A “Flat-Tax”. Taxing everything equally. I love it. More equality and more fairness. Treat all income equally and tax it the same.
Don’t think you are going to get any Dems to agree with that — but keep those ideas coming!

Not flat rate. Tax all types the same. Graduated rates based on income.

Yea, I have honestly never understood the troop whine about active duty docs because for the most part AD docs are paying back their time. Time they owe because they were competitive enough to get the scholarship.

Sure, get rid of Feres. And while they are at it, vets are taking huge advantage of the disability system. Revise that also.

Any actual savings or is it like 40% of all other canceled contracts where there's no actual savings?

Also, how many contracts are they gonna have to walk back their "savings" on when it inadvertently cuts a program the administration wanted to keep around?

It lists what's been found and being corrected. If you don't see any "actual" savings in there, then I guess you didn't even open it.

There really isn't that much info on it. I'd be curious to see a more detailed description of what they are cutting. It's easy to make anything sound pointless if you dumb down the description of what it does to a sentence. But most if not all of it was well researched and has a point. We can debate if the point of the research or program is really the government's concern but I doubt it's all just a bunch of people chasing academic butterflies on the government's dime.

If they walk back 1 for every unneeded it's still "saving".

And I could save the government billions by saying no government contracts for companies run by foreign born CEO's but I don't think all of the cuts would be in our best interest.

What I'm trying to say is the website is an oversimplification of what should be a complex and time consuming process.

Also, on the jobs part of the website it mentions working long hours like that's a good thing. I don't understand why tech CEO's look at grinding their workforce into the ground and think "I bet the best people really want that!"

I see lots of detail.
