US continues to go forward

Watched that yesterday. The amount of money owed and not paid is staggering and what could be done with just getting people to pay what is owed.

There was also a good interview on his podcast (the weekly show) with Nick Gillespie talking through Libertarian views (haven't finished it yet).

All the more reason to not reduce the IRS workforce, and in fact, increase their resources. Of course, they are the big bad boogeyman and out to get you according to some, so that will never happen under the current… situation.

This Last Week Tonight clip is exceedingly topical despite being almost 10 years old. The takeaway is that for every $1 invested in the IRS, it yields $6. The real meat of the clip starts around 11:30, however, the whole thing is worth watching.

Harder for rich people to evade taxes if they properly man and fund the IRS
 

Chips act may actually survive (not be repealed)... pending funding and manning to run it.

So cabinet appointees and the administration lied to senators to gain their support.
