Doing that sounds like a good way to sell health insurance to poor people that doesn't meet the standards required by ObamaCare. The more likely result is healthcare through bankruptcy, while insurance companies profit more. Are Republicans too shortsighted to see that standing for changes in policies that can lead to more medical bankruptcy still means having to pay for the health care of poor people. Anyway, what an irrational way to abolish ObamaCare.

Yeah, where you pay 5 times the value of the house over the course of the loan and never actually own it in your lifetime!
Yes, you can pay 1 million for a 100,000 house!!
I hear it is so they can take tax deductions off of the interest and pay less in federal income tax.Yes because what everyone wants to do is pay more interest to the bank.

Underrated comment. As the US is more fully revealed to be an unreliable actor, we will continue to lose investments and trade partnerships. This whole isolationist movement is succeeding, if the goal was to teach the rest of the world to get along without us. The US should be experiencing a major case of FOMO right now, because we’re gonna miss out on decades because of this.I almost put this in the investing thread but it is more political. But, he has a point, how much disregard of our rule of law can the government get away with before it harms our economy? I suppose most of the flagrant disregard at this point has been hurting individuals more than companies. But, he has pressured companies from time to time, nothing to stop him from kicking that up to fraudulent charges etc as he has used on political opponents.
