Trump 47

I’ve answered when I talked about how important one person was.

How important would it be to you if it was your parent/sibling/spouse/partner/child?
How important if it was my parent or other family member? Extremely important!

But my question was about the priority our government should place on effort and resources for his return. Lots of things can be important, but not top priority.

Let me give you a personal example that happened to me in late Feb.
My 78-year old mother was coughing and having some minor difficulty breathing. This went on for a period of time and worsened and we took her to the ER late at night. The nurses could not have been nicer, but it was well over 4 hours until we saw a doctor. The doctors, understandably, were working hard, but had higher priority patients with life threatening issues. I advocated for my mom strongly, but I completely understood and appreciated the priority the doctor placed on his patients. Later my mom was diagnosed with mesothelioma, but the doctors did not know that at the time.

Sorry you went through that w your mom.

By chance are you or were you an engineer?

So the question remains what level of effort should US extend to convince the President of El Salvador to send a El Salvadoran citizen to the US?

I never said one person does not matter. The US has a lot going on in the world stage. We are not failing when we set priorities. I would certainly hope you agree that I want the Security of State and his staff to prioritize Ukraine, Israel, Iran, and negotiations to return US citizens ahead of returning an illegal immigrant with a credible case of domestic abuse (which his wife did not deny during an interview just today). If you think Garcia should be prioritize over those then we have a strong disagreement in opinion.

We have an embassy in El Salvador. This is the kind if thing the US Ambassador to El Salvador should be handling. That's one thing they are there for. Negotiate and talk to the country on behalf of the US State Dept. This would be someone not at all involved in discussions on Ukraine, Isreal, Iran etc.

That is not to say that the Trump administration cannot ignore the court required “facilitate”, they do. What the administration did was wrong.
Thank you for clarifying that.

We have a Biden appointee there currently. Normally I'd assume negotiation by the ambassador would be non partisan, but Im guessing the current administration isn't going to give someone who started under the previous administration much influence.

What an absolute joke: Trump officials claimed the letter sent to Harvard with a list of demands was a "mistake" and had been sent without authorization.

And because Harvard defended themselves, the White House announced they were freezing funding and Trump threatened to remove their tax-exempt status anyway.

What a shit show.

Breaking News: Trump officials blame a mistake for setting off the tectonic confrontation with Harvard.

I mean, it even looks photoshopped. Incredible that nonsense like this is coming from our president.
Too bad the congressman didn't know this was coming and could have gotten a pic of his hands. Sadly, that would not matter, we are at the point where people believe what they want to believe rather than search for reality.

But, it's got electrolytes!

It's such a bad Photoshop job...I mean juvenile bad...one of the number isn't even on the skin anymore and is floating

And this is what makes Trump so dangerous

It's like that sharpie incident with the hurricane path...same thing

No matter what .Trump will have to be proven right and his troglodytes will do everything possible to ensure Trump is always right...truth be damned

Even when they deport someone they admitted was done incorrectly

Now they are using every to make it right...and they will do the same when he starts deporting American citizens....they will use Photoshop or sharpie or what ever means they need to make Trump's narrative right No matter what the reality and Truth is
