How important if it was my parent or other family member? Extremely important!I’ve answered when I talked about how important one person was.
How important would it be to you if it was your parent/sibling/spouse/partner/child?
But my question was about the priority our government should place on effort and resources for his return. Lots of things can be important, but not top priority.
Let me give you a personal example that happened to me in late Feb.
My 78-year old mother was coughing and having some minor difficulty breathing. This went on for a period of time and worsened and we took her to the ER late at night. The nurses could not have been nicer, but it was well over 4 hours until we saw a doctor. The doctors, understandably, were working hard, but had higher priority patients with life threatening issues. I advocated for my mom strongly, but I completely understood and appreciated the priority the doctor placed on his patients. Later my mom was diagnosed with mesothelioma, but the doctors did not know that at the time.
