The fact that you shrug this off as "trump says a lot of dumb stuff" tells me everything I need to know. Or that I already knew.

We have a president who is talking about sending AMERICANS to foreign jails. We've fallen so far that a large swath of people either agree with it or don't care because "he says dumb stuff a lot".

If I see one more person say they care about the constitution, but aren't actively working to get trump out of office, I'm going to lose it (more than I already have).

This country is absolutely cooked.

Yes, I do prefer to be associated with sane posters that engage with positive intent rather than intellectually dishonest posters. But you CONTINUALLY make-up stuff. I’ve never complained about it because I wouldn’t care.

You were supporting/defending Rob, who's position has continuously appeared to be that this man and everyone else there should rot in jail and is where they should be.

I have never insinuated or held the position that everyone there should rot in jail.

Your spin cycle began when 1 man was being portrayed as an innocent immigrant and I brought up the point that he's a wife beating, gang banging, non-citizen of the U.S.

Where have you said they should be brought back? If you dont think he should be brought back per court order then what happens? He sits in jail. You've repeatedly said they've given up due process by coming here illegally (not a thing) and it's fine for them to be in jail. You argued semantics early on and made it a point that you weren't against it because someone surely has a conviction in the group.

You keep saying he's a gang banger... but the ONLY thing stating that is not dependable. He's never been convicted or even charged with gang related actions. But I guess in your mind that one claim is enough to make it OK.

He's not even the one I'm most concerned with, he was just the first to come out and the administration admitted it was in error. This poor teenager that sitting there while he and his dad were waiting for a court date pisses me off more. ICE admitted he wasn't who they were looking for but they arrested him anyway. He has no charges ever filed, but was just in front of a building they came up to.

5th Amendment:

"No person....nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

14th Amendment:

"....nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Nowhere in any of that is anything even remotely akin to "sidestepping" or losing the right to due process by violating the law or being here illegally vs. legally.

To be viewed as a force not to be reckoned with, he surely supports the U. S. bombing Iran sooner or later. I'm still more afraid of nuclear war breaking out than the appalling things Trump has been doing against democracy. He can be brought under control by Democrats retaking Congress in 2026. A nuclear war can quickly escalate once started.

Can you find a link that pictures an illegal immigrant holding an AK-47 saying he's prepared to join other terrorists in shooting up America as soon as he gets orders, if such a video or photo exists. Furthermore, conspiracy theorists say some also possess surface to air missiles to shoot at planes at airports and other plans to terrorize America. Or maybe such things are fantasy and best they can find is teen with a water pistol.

I think the point of the post was the "make our country a force NOT to be reckoned with" when it should be a force to be reckoned with.

Most (not all) who identify w “Christ is King” in their bios are Christian Nationalists. They take the stance not of Jesus entering Jerusalem on a borrowed donkey but as a true conqueror of people/nations who have no choice but to bend politically and culturally. The trade off is that at least they are “saved.”
