I'm all for ending the production of the penny. Should have happened a long, long time ago. So I guess I applaud him for doing that.
Is there anything he could do that would sway you to not support him? Anything you can point to and say "yea, that's probably not the best way to go about things"?
Sure, I mean he could round up his haters and put them in concentration camps, like so many claim he will do. That probably wouldn't be the best way to go about things.
As Mark Cuban and others have pointed out, if he was really trying to audit the federal goverment, he would have a team of accountants and the results would not be readily available for several months at minimum.
You wouldn't have a small team of engineers and hackers doing this changing code.
Don't be suprised if X becomes the way that everyone gets their SS check or tax refunds long term. Musk was a part of paypal after all and he is pushing his own employees at X to do their banking and be paid through X by the end of the year.
It's a grift and he is stealing from the American taxpayer. His team already burned through $7 million last week alone.
