I'm not going to speak for him, but I fairly often do see moderates that are left leaning on some things and conservative on other things characterized as "extreme partisans" and suffering from TDS any time they criticize Trump.
You made an overgeneralization so I did as well.

Yes, I'm not saying other politicians don't lie. That was part of the original point I made. I'm saying other politicians don't make up absolutely insane things out of thin air. Like the stolen election which resulted in Jan 6 and Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 election and stay in power. Or saying Haitians in Ohio are eating pets which resulted in that city living under bomb threats for a week. Or basing your trade policy off completely fabricated tariff numbers, which is causing US markets to get decimated as we speak.
Politicians have always spoken half truths and presented biased information.
What is new is that now they will state and repeat 100% false, easily refutable lies ad nauseum, and the reptition plus in some cases, 35 years of indoctrination from talk radio and fox news causes people to just fall in line. Tariffs are not a tax, Ukraine started the war, DOGE is rooting out corruption, Canada is flooding the streets with Fentanyl, etc
If we do not combat this it will destroy our country. Are we winning yet?

I just watched this thinking there was some sort of context where it made sense. Not at all, he's straight up quoting Goebbels as if he's a normal politician we should be looking to for leadership. No mention he was the lead Nazi propagandist.
