1. Right-wing accounts are quickly spreading the conspiracy theory that former U.N. Ambassador and former National Security Advisor Susan Rice spoke to President Zelenskyy before he met with President Trump and offered him advice on how to handle Trump.
This is not true, as I suspected—and I have now confirmed.
Many right-wing accounts are now repeating it as part of a game of telephone, referring back to “reporting” that doesn’t actually exist—not even from conservative publications.
2. These theories all appear to stem from Rice calling the minerals deal that Zelenskyy had reportedly agreed to “horrible” because it didn’t include security guarantees.
These accounts suggest that Ambassador Rice’s position could have only resulted from secret coordination with Zelenskyy, which is absurd.
3. Security guarantees are a standard component of any foreign policy or national security negotiation of this nature, and anyone who strongly opposes Putin’s aggression would advocate for such guarantees. Otherwise, it would be a pointless deal and ultimately against the long-term interests of the United States.
It would be like suggesting that a Republican who advocates for lower taxes is in cahoots with another Republican merely because they share similar views on policy matters.
4. Margot Cleveland, an attorney and contributor to The Federalist, is one of many who have made this leap without any evidence, and other large right-wing and MAGA accounts are boosting it.

I don't think the GOP is going to care about these responses until next spring/summer. They are betting people will get over it before the next election... or they have another plan to not get crushed in the midterms.

- Trump winning by 1.5% (with under 50% total)
- House Rs winning a 3 vote majority
- all while campaigning explicitly on an agenda of NOT enacting Project 2025...
is definitely NOT a mandate to enact Project 2025 or slash and burn our Constitution.

Until I see it actually happen, I won't believe there will be midterms (as we know them now, anyhow). There is ZERO chance trump, musk, and all of the other traitors are doing all of this just to risk it being lost at the whims of voters.
The American people need to take to the streets and fight, although I think that's exactly what trump wants. He's close enough to getting all of his loyalists in the military that I think he won't hesitate to use them against American citizens.
Trump is a traitor to this country, and should be dealt with as such.
