I dont know that anyone wants to gamble on how the season is going to go. I'd bet Mateer acts like a total bookie when hes under pressure and has trouble parlaying that into success. The roster has a decent bankroll but nothing like the edge taco tech has. The squat defense is ok but the secondary will have trouble if it has to cover the spread offense. Odds are the whole team is handicapped.

Yes, hoping to beat out vanderbilt among many others. Speaking of Vanderbilt, Pavia showed us that a mid-major QB can come into the SEC and be pretty statistically impressive. Luckily OU has more talent around Mateer than Vanderbilt has around Pavia

True, it's impossible to win the big 12 when you play in the SEC.
BUT, good news! There's a 99% chance that OU will always have the most big 12 championships. Even if the big 12 doesnt fold down the road

OU does have a real gauntlet of a schedule this year. 7 teams on their schedule start this season AP ranked. will look good on paper.
