So, how about Steve Lutz and our MBB Team? Any thoughts there?

I disagree with your take but thank you for sharing it.
I believe what we have in Lutz is an excellent basketball coach. I don't know how this year is going to pan out but we have a deep roster and I think this team is going to be able grind out some impressive wins.
Regardless of the final result, I am confident that Lutz is going to consistently put a product on the floor that can make the fans proud. He knows basketball and teaches fundamentals. He has uncompromising standards. He only has three years of head coaching experience but 3 NCAA Tournament appearances and (I believe) somewhere around 25 years of total coaching experience as an assistant coach under the likes of Matt Painter at Purdue and Greg McDermott at Creighton. He may only have 3 years of head coaching experience but he isn't green and he knows basketball.
I think the Lutz hire is going to go down as one of the more underrated hires in college basketball over recent years.
I don’t think you actually researched the roster or Lutz’s experience.

I’m not disagreeing that Boone’s money wasn’t timely and pivotal. We should all be grateful to Mr. Pickens.
There’s not one coach out there that would have sustained the success and stayed and built the culture and program.
That’s not to say Gundy is without fault or that this season doesn’t suck or that changes don’t need to be made.
But back to the topic. I for one am just glad to have sat through a basketball game in the last 15 years that didn’t have a 6+ minute scoring drought by the Cowboys.

Steve Lutz is the worst football coaching hire I can think of.
Excellent, I like to see our team dunk it a whole lot and love to see Thompson quit taking all those darn threes and force it inside for a dunk or layup!!! So, that is just down the road from Drumright, very nice to have the Wendy’s and the Dunkin there!

I am going to post these here as I catch them. Reminds me so much of Jay Bilas. His transparency, his calling out selfishness, his wit and humor and his stern tone is a breath of fresh air. Love the multiple video sessions and exposing the boys weaknesses. He said anywhere from 5-50 clips they correct on each player. That is awesome!! Cannot get enough!
