Good point. I doubt the new staff has even considered that. They're probably just so excited to get a QB and RB that they're going to just mail it in the rest of the time.

There haven’t been many commitments anywhere yet, most want to take their visits even if they know where they are going. Got to turn them into signees, but we’ve already got a really good list of visitors the next few days.
Obviously we have the N Texas guys, several key pieces on offense and defense. In addition to Mestemaker, Hawkins and Young, this includes a couple of Oline and Dline guys. The LT, Braydon Nelson, already has several offers including SEC schools so we really need to get him.
Texas OL guy that started 5 games is visiting, along with a few others from Ohio and Coastal Carolina. Two ou guys are visiting, DT Markus Strong, and CB, Devon Jordan. These were backups on ou’s D and guys they were really disappointed to lose.

One thing I am noticing is that Morris has no aversion and does not shy away from small receivers. This makes sense since he himself was a small receiver at Texas Tech. I personally am very excited about this because there are a lot of small-framed receivers who have been extremely productive and will likely be fairly affordable.

He’s an Aussie. We probably got him cheap. $100 gift card to a local dispensary and an order of cheese fries every Sunday during the season.
If I saw him in Nacogdoches, I would never guess he was from Australia. He looks as Pineywoods as it gets.
If he turns out to be worth what we paid him then maybe we should up his pay to chili cheese fries.
