We will actually have to put together some decent AB's if we wan to stay in this one. Oregon State is already hammering Keisel. The strikeouts are just baffling. But its not like haven't seen it before.

Wulfert pops out on the first pitch. He just walked a guy on 5 pitches.
Schubart down looking. Fastball on the outer half
Meola reaches on single to 3B, Benge to 3rd on bad throw. Meola limping. Ortiz takes his spot.
Brueggeman strikes out on 3 pitches.
This is hard to watch. What is so mystical about our hitting approach that we have to first set records in strikeout futility before figuring out how to put the bat on the ball....every year? It would be different if we had proof that by the postseason hitters would be in a groove and hitting everything in sight.
