It was a good week overall, 3-1 and a win over #2. So that's the good. A lot of that thanks to pitching, which was a ? going in.

The bad is that injuries are already piling up. Offensively, four of the eight games have been very poor. Tons of work to do in an area that was expected to be a strength.

And the reward for the long week is a trip to DBU, the team that embarrassed us at home last June

I watched their game against Ou. They are solid offensively. I think the final was 11-7. They won on a late grand slam.

DBU is always a tough matchup but this is probably their best team in quite some time. Hopefully the bats wake up a bit

DBU is 7-0 this year. Only "quality win" was over OU. Others were over SE Missouri and Central Michigan (who OSU plays this weekend). The Patriots do the opposite approach of Josh, they ease into the schedule and now for them it gets hard.
