Oregon and Washington Close to Moving to the B1G?

Yeah I think they do go to the B1G and do so with a much lower payout amount. This will happen after some of their PAC brethren bolt for the Big 12 though and they realize the PAC is dead.

I can see Washington, Cal, Stanford or Utah joining the Big 10; but Oregon isn’t a very strong academic school.

They weren’t that strong of an athletic school until the 2000’s.

But Oregon is by far the biggest, most visible brand out of those.

Oregon and Washington have already been vetted and approved to join the B1G. It is just a matter of the timing and terms now. Not saying it’s a done deal but they are good to join that conference.
