Official Game Thread of Disappointment: OSU vs Tulsa

4 of those were against the number 4 team in the country. The other 3 were Gundy's systems. Even going back and watching the game this morning I could see a difference from quarter 1-quarter 4.

Why in the hell would you do that? Also did you rewatch the Oregon game?

Honest question

In the college football power index, OSU is now ranked #113 out of #128 FBS football teams. Offense is ranked #112. Defense is ranked #114.

Yikes. Save Oregon, we're not even in the toughest part of the schedule. Doing a quick bit of crunching some numbers, if the season continues the way it's going, OSU will be ranked dead last in all of FBS.

The best HC of all-time retired the year before NIL. Nick Saban knew what was going to happen. Many others followed suit.

We can be mad all we want while pointing the finger at the most successful OSU HC of all-time. The NIL destroyed college football. NIL destroyed Oklahoma State football. It's sad. It really is. It doesn't matter who the HC is.. unless OSU football receives a massive influx of NIL monies, OSU will be a perpetual and perennial bottom feeder of the FBS. The golden era is sadly over.

Damn you, NIL. Damn you to hell.

NIL is an easy out, there were many that have seen this coming for many years now, Gundys complacency and attitude started well before NIL was a factor, NIL was the final nail in the coffin.

Speaking of, I should probably rewatch the Colorado game from last season to see what went wrong there.

I see these guys talking about re-watches so they can break stuff down and Im like cool. If I come across a clip of big game bob punting again Ill re-watch that 50 times so I get it.

Even yesterday-I still don't know how that happened but if your thing is figuring out what went wrong then ok. But Oregon last week or Colorado-man I know what went wrong. We stepped off the bus and got our a$$es handed to us. Not sure what you can garner from watching it happen again

Damn TU's huge NIL budget: Come on

I disagree. Gundy has 100% lost the team. An interim could absolutely turn this around because it would be gone the players something to get excited about, or at least feel differently.

Plus, there are other reasons coaches are commonly fired mid season now. Times have changed. Gundy needs to be let go NOW.
Normally I would agree but I don’t think that solves the problems we see on the field; DL can’t control the LOS, DB’s can’t cover, we can’t tackle, OL can’t control the LOS, WR’s can’t catch, etc. There appears to be a severe talent deficit compared to our conference opponents let alone the rest of the Power 4 leagues. I don’t think there is any simple fix to this season as simple as having an interim coach finish the season.

Watching Texas Tech battle with Utah, we are not on the same planet as these teams. Tech will beat us as bad or worse than Oregon did. I can’t believe a program such as ours could fall to these depths of a complete lack of talent in such a short period of time. If someone set out to do it intentionally, I don’t think they could make us this bad in this short a period of time. I’m trying to think of any instance in the past in Power 4 NCAA football where a program that was perennial top 20 program fell as hard, as far or as quickly as ours did. Don’t know if any of you can think of an example but I think it’s unprecedented! Maybe death penalty SMU?

Nebraska fell off pretty hard after the 2016 season. Only one winning season since

The only games we are going to stand a chance in is once Hauss gets back and if the other offense is really bad. This defense is going to get rolled, even by bad offenses like last night.
