I’ve been saying for a while that the administration should wield its veto power on coordinators if necessary. Sounds like they are letting it known who approves hires and signs the paychecks. Good! Now this doesn’t mean you don’t have the ability as the HC to find your coordinator you feel is best, but it does mean no more developmental coordinator hires just to avoid coordinators being poached and having to replace regularly.

I guess I missed where schools can now give money towards NIL. If not, I don't understand how AD money that would have gone to Gundy can now go to NIL.

I also feel like this isn’t aboutwhat he deserves’, it’s about what the school, players and supporters deserve first.

I agree, he should not have said it publicly for one and for two should have worded it differently. I feel like what Gundy has done off the field needs to be taken into account as well. Our graduation rates, the success of these young men after they leave his program. I’m not trying to be dismissive of what he said, so I apologize if it comes across that way.

Not to mention how clean the program has been. The ensuing NCAA investigation after that lie that ESPN the magazine published, found no major violations. I can’t imagine any other P5 going through that crap and not having any major violations. Gundy does not get enough credit for this b
