I think that’s pretty evident. He really stepped in it this year with the people that have helped prop him up.
Absolutely one of the dumbest PR blunders I can recall.
Just couldn’t believe he could be that tone deaf, then I kinda moved on to thinking what he said is how he truly feels and has unbelievably thin skin for a guy who’s been in his position so long.
I’m sure there’s no way he’s getting the axe. Wouldn’t make sense to announce the coordinator moves, then follow up with the head coach.
It’s more likely he gets fired Friday or resigns tomorrow than he’s the coach in August

Unless Gundy isn't the one who fired the coords. Maybe they gave Gundy a day or two to mull over options.

Eh, we’ll see.
I personally don’t think the guy that ran it into the ditch is the guy to get it back. I’ve never really been a fire the coach guy but I think it’s time for him to go.

This seems clear that Gundy will not be our coach going forward, resign or be fired most likely. Legal must have determined they have enough to fire for cause with no payout!

I'm thinking something close to this but, maybe a leveraged position for a much lower buyout. I don't think either side wants to lawyer up because no one wins at that point.
The lawyers always win. Maybe not the case but they do win the $$$$$$.
I like the "gone" part. If he kisses the ring, he needs to be on a very short leash.

I would love to see a pay cut for the crap he’s pulled on playing with other schools to boost his salary. lol now no one wants him anymore so his value has diminished significantly. This is want you should expect when you strong arm your way into getting a payday with nothing to show for it. Especially when the payday came before the worst season we’ve had in more than 30 years.

I think tomorrow's meeting covers one or more of the following:
- Approving buyouts for assistants to be fired.
- Discussing salary ranges for potential coordinators.
- Restructuring Gundy's contract.
If Gundy is not the coach following that meeting, I will be very surprised. However, someone stated this morning on RA's show that the head of the BOR is not a big fan of Gundy, so there is that.

Gundy would have to be terminated with cause to avoid any payout, or HE would have to negotiate a smaller payout and resign. But I haven't heard any rumors along either line at this point. I think with Nardo and Dunn gone, Gundy has recognized that he would have to make changes in his staff or he would be the one leaving.
