LOL, roughly the equivalent of missouri, a team who constantly recruits in the 30s-40s range, whose last conference title was in 1969, who has a 2-22 record vs OU in the last 24 meetings? Makes sense.OU wandered in the weeds between Switzer and Stoops. Bama wandered in the Weeds between Bryant and Stallings and then again between Stallings and Saban. UGA only had three great years under Dooley, but the weeds were tall between his era and Smart. Other than the SPurrier and Meyer eras, Florida has actually been a mediocre program. LSU and Auburn are constantly boom or bust.
As the SEC stands right now, OU would be roughly the equivalent of Mizzou. Who knows what will happen with coaching changes/retirements?
Sounds like a good thing. thanks for sharingThat or worry about his dad stealing his salary

He’s never going to write you back….or lift the restraining order on you.Yes, he's very successful with his business, and i suspect makes more than a kia salesman since he's the owner.
um, coolHe’s never going to write you back….or lift the restraining order on you.
Yep. one season does not make a trend thoughMizzou is going to finish second in the East.

I wouldnt expect dominationMizzou has won the East twice. A&M has never made it to ATL.
I think OU will make the occasional run, but they will not dominate.
I’d expect mediocrity.I wouldnt expect domination
Oh yeah, you can't focus on I've thing at a time. We were talking Bedlam records. Bowman is 1-0 in Bedlam. Forever.Actually he's currently 1-2 vs OU losing to OU in 18 and 20.
BUT, He'll always have that one W to lean on when he's selling Kias out of your local stillwater dealership.
I'd have to hunt it down but this discussion was had when OU and Texas first announced that they were moving to the sec. That's because they needed money thanks to Boren.Ou generated 177 million last year in athletics revenue which is 10th in the country. they got 109 million in donations. where did you read that the athletics dept is in the red?
Actually to be fair, their Athletic Department is in fairly decent shape, probably the only Department that isn’t swimming in debt because Porky Boren thought he was still in the US Senate and engaged in excessive deficit spending on all the new facilities down there and left them with a pile of debt! That is an ex politician for you!!!I'd have to hunt it down but this discussion was had when OU and Texas first announced that they were moving to the sec. They are still not in pretty good shape. They are still paying on the big outhouse and they have had to spend a lot of money to get SEC ready. You guys do realize the overall amount of money flowing into SEC schools is staggering, don’t you? LSU, UGA, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Texas A&M, Alabama, Vanderbilt, and even Soth Carolina have donor bases and business relationships that OSU and the goons can’t start to match. Then you throw in the whorns. They may be in decent shape relevant to Big XII standards, but they are still limited by their economic base.Actually to be fair, their Athletic Department is in fairly decent shape, probably the only Department that isn’t swimming in debt because Porky Boren thought he was still in the US Senate and engaged in excessive deficit spending on all the new facilities down there and left them with a pile of debt! It’s the university system as a whole, not the athletic department. But why would anyone expect an ou football fan to care about the health of the institution when we all know football is all that matters in life.I'd have to hunt it down but this discussion was had when OU and Texas first announced that they were moving to the sec. The top ten in Athletic Department revenue among the Division One FBS programs are as follows:They are still not in pretty good shape. They are net $2,000,000, on $177,000,000 that’s not spectacular. They still don’t have the industry basis to get enough NIL money to complete with those above them. The top ten in Athletic Department revenue among the Division One FBS programs are as follows:
Ohio State $251 million dollars
Texas $239 million dollars
Alabama $214 million dollars
Michigan $210 million dollars
Georgia $203 million dollars
LSU $199 million dollars
Texas A&M $193 million dollars
Florida $190 million dollars
Penn State $ 181 million dollars
Oklahoma $177 million dollars
The source, USA Today Sports - College Wire stated OU brought in $177 million in revenue and had expenditures of $ 175 million which left them with a roughly two million dollar profit. I hate them as much as anyone but acknowledge their status and pecking order on the tree!!! It is interesting to see that they would be number 7 in the SEC among revenue according to these numbers!
