....To 2 of those schools that will STILL be in this "mid-major" conference next year. Maybe you could look at those conference losses from some previous years. Uh oh, also to some of those "mid-major" schools. I guess they were just good enough to plow y'all because they were fortunate enough to associate with the likes of OU & Texas?

Yes, I confirm that both kansas and osu will still still be stuck in the mid major conference next year and beyond.

Cool, but When was the last time the big 12 commissioner publicly rooted against one of his own member institutions?

And Alan Bowman will be forever 1-0 against the gooners.

Actually he's currently 1-2 vs OU losing to OU in 18 and 20.

BUT, He'll always have that one W to lean on when he's selling Kias out of your local stillwater dealership.

Both their school, and the athletics department, are in the red. The money they get from the SEC the first couple of years, is going to bring them barely above water to breathe. From there they're just going to tread water if they're going to try and upgrade their situation to try to match bama, LSU, Ole miss, etc..

Ou generated 177 million last year in athletics revenue which is 10th in the country. they got 109 million in donations. where did you read that the athletics dept is in the red?

Just wait until recruits figure out your coaches had all that talent and still managed to lose to ku & OSU...
Why leave Calif when they can play at USC & UCLA in the B10 or leave Florida when they can play at FLA, GA, Ole Miss, etc?
The train is comin but y'all keep ignoring the barricades and whistle...uo gonna be a bad viral meme...and soon
The recruits already saw that and so far zero decommits. they dont usually commit to BV unless they are sure and so far they seem quite sure. If they didnt jump ship after 6-7 why would they after 8-2? i know it's weird for you to believe that BV is a hell of a recruiter, but he is elite.

Why leave california? because ball out there isnt good. why leave florida? to play for BV. duh. he loves recruiting florida kids. he's thrown miami into a locker on several occasions in the last couple cycles.

The train is coming, but when? so far it's just delivering blue chip recruits. about to be 10-2 in a rebuild year. I love it.

the big 12 plays jokes, cool
No...
The joke was mine.
The Big XII understood the tiebreaker rules' wording was shite & decided it was best to clarify the intent of the wording. If KSU wants to complain, so be it. If OSU throws out another turd, I'll readily admit we earned our place at home in December.
Regardless, without help OU isn't part of the equation without help so all the Sooner whiners are just that. Whiners

They could have done that in august.

Whining about what exactly? i dont care what the rule is, i only care that it's being re-interpreted in november instead of before the season started. the rule itself is irrelevant to me, who it benefits or hurts, irrelevant. the only thing relevant to me is that a re-interpretation occurred in november.

Everything in your post that isn't the bolded part? Whining...

I'll rephrase what I'm saying though, since you're still going on about it.
Option 1-Interpretation people were guessing about related to "Rule 2" stays in effect, games go chalk the rest of the way, KSU vs Texas in Arlington.

Option 2-Big XII realizes their wording is bad, also realizes it would be incredibly stupid to have a 3 way tie exlude a team that won the head to head matchup vs the other 2 "tied" teams. Issues a clarification (no, not rule change. no, not "re-interpreted") to conference affiliate leadership. Games go chalk the rest of the way, OSU vs Texas in Arlington.

OR something changes in the last 2 weeks and none of this matters anyway...

Option 1 or 2 is missing a mention of a team...OHHH YEAH it's yours. Therefore, what you care about matters zilch. What other OU fans care about also is irrelevant.

that's not whining.

I did not include texas, I was only including current sec teams. txas always out-recruits OU, almost every year they out-recruit most of the country and that hasnt helped them because they dont develop really well.

uga and bama are the ones to really worry about every year because they recruit and develop at an elite level. aggie, florida, auburn lsu etc they have mediocre seasons sandwiched in between the occasional great one. but uga and bama are consistent.

Yes sec is very tough. a top 10 team can certainly be 4th in a given year. Cant be the best if you dont beat the best. and sec is where the best talent wants to play.

OU wandered in the weeds between Switzer and Stoops. Bama wandered in the Weeds between Bryant and Stallings and then again between Stallings and Saban. UGA only had three great years under Dooley, but the weeds were tall between his era and Smart. Other than the SPurrier and Meyer eras, Florida has actually been a mediocre program. LSU and Auburn are constantly boom or bust.

As the SEC stands right now, OU would be roughly the equivalent of Mizzou. Who knows what will happen with coaching changes/retirements?
