Do they have "cause" to be able to avoid a buyout? Would those kinds of comments hold up to that, or at least provide a place to negotiate it WAY down.

Completely agree. That’s just ignorance on my part. I just assumed that’s how it works if you want to fire a coach for something other than committing a felony.

So in 2021, he made $4.2 mil, the next year they jumped him all the way to $7.5 mil. Since then we have sucked. Seems like we aren't getting our money's worth on that contract negotiation. If anyone on here was given a 79% raise and returned worse performance, they'd be gone already (but who else would never get that kind of raise).
Has his house sold yet or is it still on the market? Another example that maybe he doesn't want to keep going.

He isn’t going anywhere, you are correct! I still say I am beginning to think Wieberg and Shrum just shrug their shoulders over this stuff until you see it really effect the bottom line via lots of empty seats and unsold tickets, and a downward trend in donations coming in!
