Big 12 Baseball Championship

I can only hope we're getting all the yips out of the way today to clear way for a clean rest of the post season. Doubtful. But I hope.

OSU hitters continue to watch the best pitch in the AB go over the plate then swings at one in on the hands or outside for easy ground outs or pop outs.

Soft throwing lefties continue to eat their lunch.

So are we ever going to see Kiezel pitch this year? Bogusz? The injuries to the pitching staff every year needs some serious evaluation. Has Rob lost his touch with modern day pitching? Every year we have weekend rotation level arms that go down with injuries. If i was a high school/juco/portal pitching talent there is nothing attractive about Oklahoma State, which is sad.... The ability to develop arms seems to be lacking. I understand we lost a ton of innings to the draft/graduation but this is Oklahoma State Baseball. Develop the guys on your staff to be ready to take over and recruit better pitching talent (2023 class is currently ranked 60th in the country behind teams like Baylor, Wichita State, Ohio State....). What we have seen from pitching staff this year will simply never allow you to seriously compete for national championships. I hope Stebens still has an arm left after this year.

I don't get pitching Stebens down 9-4. Injuries haven't helped, but this pitching staff is bad.

Keisel has been dealt with a shoulder injury. Is it rob Waltons fault…Absolutely not…that would equivalent to blaming Charlie Dickey for all the OL injuries. We lose 8-9 our top pitchers to draft/graduation. Our starting rotation and closer, long relief was drafted. Not an excuse, just reality. Last years group was healthy which is why they had success.

Asking freshmen to coming in and pitch major innings. Just reality. If you point to a team that’s pitching with a bunch of young players I’d love to know. Finally, this team won a big XII title with a fairly young staff….safe to say the sky isn’t falling.

Ok ump. Your squeeze did the trick

Blue - 2
Cowboys - 0

Fun fact: OSU has not won a game with Mike Morris as the home plate umpire. Someone needs to turn him in and get him more training or reprimand him. His zone is horrible a big reason this game got out of hand. Not the only reason, but a big one.
