I think of the phrase "throwing her to the wolves."

All I can come up with is that we'll need her in the postseason, and if she can battle through this, she can battle through anything. I guess....

So far we’re making light contact but it’s still contact. Maxwell has good command so we’re chasing bad pitches. If we can keep her from getting into a rhythm we’ll start making better contact.
