Good golly Miss Molly. 590,000 early votes in Georgia so far. I did watch some analysis that first day votes Republican counties were outperforming the the Big Blues so we'll see where this goes but turnout is massive.

Hey @Polds4OSU honest question….. you are maybe the most prolific poster in here. It’s impressive. And you post a lot of good stuff that I read and learn from. You seem to be on a crusade against misinformation and that is a noble cause. You have posted or fact check folks about crime stats for example. So why when the FBI makes a greater than 6% correction which given the data set is a huge error to make why don’t you post about stuff like that? The FBI isn’t red or blue. You post at a rate that borders robotic….why post about what Jimmy Kimmel….noted black face performer….does in a skit. I’m using this example because of Kimmel….if someone dug up a conservative podcaster that made his career with a show that ended in “Girls jumping on trampolines” and was in blackface you would absolutely post about it as a negative thing.

I just googled and literally it is only Fox News, New York Post and Times of India and random dudes on YouTube. No one else is reporting this that I could find. Maybe everyone else is out to lie to you but those proven bastions of truth aren’t lying to you but that would be lunacy to think that those three sites give you really good factual news. And before oh you’re attacking the source, yeah I am because they have admitted to lying in court. It’s Freedim of Information Act data. You aren’t helping your case. It’s been released openly to the public. You are shining a light on the fact that we aren’t being told what matters. Red….Blue somewhere in between that’s a massive miss from a bureau that isn’t party affiliated. It’s news. If you can’t find it that’s a problem. Also the bigger story here is crime as we thought is way worse not that you have to scroll down a bit on Google.

A crime move of over 6% is a troubling signal in a nation this size. It speaks to the state of things. If the FBI can’t get it right to within a 6 percent margin there is either an ocean of new data or they are incompetent. Either way it should be big news as that is an important metric of a society. Sorry I disturbed your daily feed of propaganda.

It was such a huge news that Fox News poted today..who then Had Kamala in for a live interview today.....and the very news station breaking this story didn't even confront the VP with it or talk about it ...in an interview hours AFTER they posted this huge news ???

All four of the people on the ticket have referenced crime in debates. The data was crap. That should matter whatever side you’re on….or if you are just fed up with both it screams of why.
6.5% Crime miss. That means we have a data problem on a large scale, someone can’t do math, or the stats are juked. It’s not a rounding error.

During the prior administration, the FBI upwardly adjusted crime data during its last three years: in 2018, 2019, and 2020. These adjustments are standard practice," the official continued before citing an article on the data this week. "Real Clear Investigations fails to mention that, in 2021, there was a sharp decline in the number of agencies participating in FBI data collection because the FBI temporarily disallowed an earlier collection method. The FBI switched back to its prior method in 2022."

Lott explained he noticed the quiet update when the FBI released its 2023 crime data set last month, adding: "It was pretty easy to see that things had changed."
"For 2022 and 2021 in particular, they had some changes for a few of the previous years, but they were very small. The changes for 2021 and 2022 were very large. You know, I looked through the press release that the FBI had put out, there was no mention of them having changed the data for earlier years. And surely no mention of the large change that had occurred
So I wouldn't go taking this as gospel...there is a reason only two legitimate news agency is pushing this (Fox News and now NY Post)...both very conservative outlets
