2024 Presidential Election

There will be a new president inaugurated on January 20.

Most likely Trump.

Kennedy was a democrat that was blocked. So was Bernie.

The reforms should start with democrat primaries.

Kennedy would have won the democratic primary in a landslide. Same with general. He would have shifted the electorate for at least a generation.
Why do you think he would have won the dem primary in a landslide? He's more R than D.

Politicians need to leave science to people that do it for a living. No more politicians pushing conspiracy theory nonsense.
Agree 100% but now we’ve got the Supreme Court pretending they know all things, so clearly those experts are now unnecessary.

...I will not see a successful third party win in my lifetime...IMO

This. When I was young and stupid(er) I thought Ross Perot might be the guy, the first time he ran in '92. He received nearly 20MM votes in the general election (not mine). It wasn't him personally so much, but that I thought it might really open the door for a 3rd party to coalesce going forward. Wrong again. Since Perot received 8 MM votes in '96, only Gary Johnson has approached 5 MM (all numbers from Wiki). As you said, I don't think I'll ever see a competitive 3rd party in a presidential election.

The major parties saw those theoretical chances at wins and have since shored up the elections in ways to make it nearly impossible.

George Washington:

"However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion."

Sure. If he wants to weigh in on things about the eye (he was an opthomologist) then I'm all for it.
To become an ophthalmologist, you must finish medical school and complete a residency in ophthalmology. These types of eye doctors have at least 12 years of training—four years each of undergraduate work, medical school, and post-graduate training.

Yep. I know. But that doesn't make them am expert in immunizations, climate change, engineering, etc etc

Neither candidate is fit to president and there should be laws to stop it. Joe Biden isn’t mentally fit to manage anything and we are in two wars. No person on earth takes that guy seriously. Trump had to ask permission to debate due to the gag order on the 34 felonies he was just convicted of. There are no winners. There is no argument for either. They are both unfit.

We have editorial boards of major US Newspapers calling on BOTH of them to step down as the most patriotic move they could do right now and both call them out for being unfit

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I. The history of the US...we've been here

It's sad and frightening

A word from the scientists.

“We are continuing to evaluate the evidence,” a CDC spokesman said.

We can kind of almost see the end,” Walensky told Maddow. “We’re vaccinating so very fast, our data from the CDC today suggests, you know, that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick, and that it’s not just in the clinical trials but it’s also in real world data.”
