This does concern me. The one part of Trump admin that I found interesting and he isn't doing it.

No I dont have stats, I have article after article on the subject and advertising dropping because they saw the same trends. Companies tend to not like their ads right next to racist posts.

Doesn't make you racist, but people tend to follow what they grew up around.

And Pfizer won't like posts from conspiracy theory nuts who say that up to 80% of the people who took the COVID vaccines will die by the end of 2025. I don't mind if X and FB would delete such unbridled freedom of speech posts, since there are at least several other social media platforms available for paranoid conspiracy theory nuts to use and the owners won't care. And thankfully the audience will be much smaller.

You realize 1st amendment only applies to the government right?
Companies now are treated like people and have 1st amendment rights as well to not be associated with speak they disagree with.

X hides anything critical of Musk on the platform or anything he would be unhappy with. His free speech absolutist position is not that.

I sincerely hope they take advantage of the possibility of having an extremely public confirmation hearing where they can absolutely drag Gaetz. I think that guy is trash and if both sides of the aisle truly do feel the same way (as they have given the impression) then it'll be time to put up or shut up.
It also wouldn't surprise me if he ends up declining the nomination to avoid the possibility of being subjected to a confirmation hearing.

The next several weeks and months are going to be epic as this battle carries out throughout the Executive and Legislative branches. Additionally, I would be remiss if I did not note that Gaetz represents the biggest, irresistible bait for the Intelligence Community (IC) to watch being dragged in front of them. It will be interesting to watch their reaction.

The nomination of Matt Gaetz is the Mother of All Bombs (MOAB) and the DOJ is the target.
