So many of the hits and walks in the first inning came with 2 strikes. It's been a while since I've seen OSU batters foul off so many pitches. Not a lot of hard hit balls, BUT when you put the ball in play, good things can happen.

(note: I said not a lot of hard hit balls before 2 HRs were hit)

Was that just an unintentional bunt with a check swing off the knob of the bat?!? Unbelievable

I know it’s just Central Michigan, but is this team finally getting its feet on the ground and being what we thought they could be? I don’t know why our teams always start so slowly, but I don’t care if we’re playing the little sisters of the poor, a 10 run first inning is pretty impressive!

Clearly the key is to schedule only teams from Michigan to start the season. We're (barring complete collapse) 4-0 against Michigan and CMU, now let's bring in MSU, Eastern Michigan, and Western Michigan.
