1. We disagree on "mainly". Very much so. I would say a more accurate and true statement would be "approximately equally" with MAGAstanis/Trump/"Loonie Rightist" whatever you want to call it.

I don't know why anyone would, or even could, disagree with this claim.
It does fuel this kind of violence. Is it the only or even the majority cause....no, not at all.
Our political rhetoric has worsened ,and what has been deemed acceptable, has increased over the last many years. It is not a left or right specific problem, but bad actors from both sides certainly contribute to fueling the violence.
How many presidents since Hitler do you think have been compared to Hitler? It's way more prevalent the last decade but it's always been there.
If you want to argue it's more mainstream than say when Clinton was in office I would completely agree though.

All of those statements, whether true or false, incite anger which can lead to violence in some people.
You are right it has worsened that last 10 years. In my lifetime have never had a president talk about people the way the current president does.

In my view, this is the wrong question we should be asking. The question that should be asked is "does Donald Trump meet the criteria of a fascist leader?" The answer to this question makes your question and a few other questions that would follow very clear.
If he does, speaking the truth is paramount and is more important than a random/occasional act of violence. If it is just hyperbole, then your question would be the correct one to ask next, along with should speech be voluntarily curtailed across politics to avoid political violence.
Donald Trump's words, deeds and policies meet the threshold of fascism. I think the threat of not calling someone what they are is greater than the threat of a periodic attempted assassination by a (likely) mentally ill individual.

Trump's policies are inspiring violence from the mentally unstable. If the Iran War can't be settled soon so that oil flows freely in the Hormuz Strait, things can only get worse, possibly in hard to imagine bad ways.
