Trump 47

Absolutely DID.

"One of MPI's principal findings is that the deportation system has dramatically changed over the past 19 years – moving from a judicial system prior to 1996, where the vast majority of people facing deportation had immigration court hearings, to a system today of nonjudicial removals, where 75 percent of people removed do not see a judge before being expelled from the U.S."
Absolutely DID NOT.

You're right, there are those pesky semantics about length of time here illegally and the distance from the border...🙄

Absolutely DID NOT.
I like the argument that 75% of those deported under Obama didn't see an Immigration Judge....the Law says they can be deported without due process based on how far from the border they were caught and how long they been here.

Gee if you catch 78% of illegals at the Border and Deport all of them under the 1996 Law

The percentage of illegal immigrants caught at the border varies, but the estimated at-the-border apprehension rate averaged 78% from 2018 to 2020. This means that approximately 78% of individuals attempting to cross the border illegally were apprehended during that period1.

So the Argument 75% of Obama deportees didn't get due Process is just JUNK nonsense. If they were deported under the guidelines of the 1996 law, then 75% sounds about right, since 78% are caught AT THE BORDER

So it was bullshit nonsense to ask him where his outrage was over Obama deporting illegals with no due process. Cool.
It was stupid to assume there would or should be any outrage. Why would there be any outrage for a POTUS to operate within a Congressionally passed law ?

You went to some Right wing site and read up on some conspiracy that Obama did the SAME THING that Trump is doing and that No one got mad at Obama doing it.

you then brought that crap here and tried to call me out on it.

Then you got some learning that the conspiracy you came here pushing is NO WHERE close to reality or US law and you got a very fevered response from Many different people calling you out because of that reality.

And they loudly and quickly told you that the argument you were pushing was wrong and that Obama was following a Congressionally Passed Law that was passed 2 Admins and 12 years before Obama became POTUS

You have obviously lost your mind with this Polds obsession.

You haven't proven Obama deported illegals with no due process.

You haven't proven that what Trump is doing NOW is the same thing as what Obama did THEN.....because it's not.

Why should he be outraged by something that would have ended eight fricking years ago if what you alleged HAD occurred (it didn't....expedited deportation pursuant to validly passed law IS providing due process set forth in statute) and is completely different than what Trump is doing now?

So yes, it is bs nonsense to ask him where his outrage over your imaginary non-factual deporting illegals with no due process that would have ended eight years ago (if it had even actually happened....which it didn't).

You may think you're proving a point. The only point you are proving is that you are bizarrely obsessed with Polds posting level on here for some reason. Damn son, if it bothers you that much.....don't read them. The ignore button is there for a reason.

Person #1. Hey bro, where was your outrage when Obama did the same thing as Trump is doing? Liberals are so hypocritical.

Person #2. Actually, Obama didn't do the same thing as Trump is doing.

#1. So that's (D)ifferent. So typical for liberals.

#2. Yes....what Obama did was actually, factually, and legally different. One was authorized by the rule of law, one obviously isn't. Thus, no outrage for one and outrage over the other.

1. Rule of law = "pesky semantics". They're close enough in my book. Mission accomplished. Proved your a hypocrite.

YES. BS NONSENSE.

Polds next post about detention needs to have a matching post about FDR so he can "show outrage" there too.

Cause that's what we are apparently supposed to do. Show outrage any time a post is made relating negatively to Trump over anything Rob thinks might be similar to what Trump is doing no matter how long ago it happened.

To be clear I'm very much not defending FDR's internment of Japanese Americans during WW2. Just using as an example of something that could relate from distant past.

I'm afraid FDR is about to dragged out and paraded as an example of why Trump needs a 3rd term soon. so FDR and a review of his 4 terms is about to come to light very quickly

Mark My Words

The Poster Child for the 22nd amendment (and the most Socialist leaning POTUS) is going to be used to try to argue why Trump should be able to violate the 22nd amendment. I'm not 100% sure of the mental gymnastics they will try to use to justify it, but I know its coming.

The simple fact they will use the most Left leaning Socialism based POTUS as evidence why the Most Authoritarian leaning based POTUS should remain in power beyond what is allowed by the 22nd amendment should tell you everything you need to know about the extremism at play and flash Danger and Warning signs at you

For those who don't know why we have a 22nd amendment. Please start studying now..so you know the BS when they throw it at you

Terminated January 6th case prosecutor: At the end of the night, 15 Assistant U.S. Attorneys had been fired.

My termination letter said it was for prosecuting January 6th cases.

“U.S. Attorneys represent the United States of America, not the President.”

for the third straight day, Leavitt is doing a White House briefing exclusively for MAGA influencers (yes, that's Jack Posobiec and Dom Lucre)...no traditional press allowed anymore it seems

Trump on China: "They made a trillion dollars with Biden selling us stuff. Much of it we don't need. Somebody said, 'oh, the shelves are gonna be open.' Well, maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, and maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more."

Peacetime economic austerity for the working man disguised as patriotism while the oligarchs feed at the trough.

Hard pass.

Don't be surprised when they bring back peacetime Freedom gardens to grow your own veggie when import prices hit imported fruits and veggies from Mexico hard
I now find myself un-suprise-able with the :poop: that comes out of this administration.

An HHS Director that wrote in his most recent book that he is a germ theory denialist.

"Alternative facts" asserted that are the exact opposite of verifiable reality.

War Is Peace. Freedom Is Slavery. Ignorance Is Strength.

We're dealing with a post-truth administration at this point. He can say whatever he wants. Make whatever assertions he wants. And about 30% of our population will unquestioningly believe it to be true simply because he said it is so.

Textbook reply.

It was (D)ifferent then, right?
Apples to oranges, but lay on Macduff! You are actually quite amusing grabbing at straws to justify your lamé and tired whataboutisms. It’s a proven troll method that requires mental gymnastics to even pretend there are similarities when in truth there are none.
