Trump 47

Do you also want all income levels to have access to SNAP?

It's a benefit only for certain income levels that everyone pays for. Kinda like how it would be if the tax to fund SS didn't have a cap. So do you see how, maybe, just maybe not everyone needs the same benefits payout even if they pay in.
Ok. So you are advocating for changing the purpose of SS from what it was originally founded.

I think everyone should read the original system as it was set up in 1935 and understand the full intent and scope and who handled it when it first became a law

At its very core is was basically a Universal Basic Income for the needy and retired

This is his way of convincing Fox, and thus the bootlickers, that he's not a russian asset. Nothing more, nothing less.

But now any time you say that trump loves putin, or that he's an asset, the mouthbreathing maga will point to this and use it as proof that he's not.
Sounds pretty Russian assety to me:

"I actually think he's doing what anybody else would do," Trump said of Putin's attack. "I think he wants to get it stopped and settled. And I think he's hitting them harder than he's been hitting them, and I think probably anybody in that position would be doing that right now."

My question is, if this has been going on for years and we have sent billions in aid, how are there any sanctions left to sanction with? Why would we have been holding back?

You hate tariffs? Tariffs are now a huge part of American foreign policy.

Why do you hate America?
I don’t like traffic, short red lights, people that jog on main streets, getting MRIs, middle seats on planes, and increasing taxes either.

My read on all of this is that (for better or worse) he just doesn't want to deal with the war and also wants the clout of being the guy who ended it. He is going to do whatever he can to end it as fast as he can. I understand the arguments that its the wrong way and its bad....not sure I agree that there is a wrong way but I understand that perspective. I don't think the guy cares about either side and I don't believe he is picking one over the other.

As President Trump seeks to purge the federal government of “woke” initiatives, agencies have flagged hundreds of words to limit or avoid, according to a compilation of government documents.

Say one of the words, dollar in the jar. No more National Dept.

I get where you are coming from, but I think there is a wrong way. There is a reason no one calls it the Great War anymore--its because the Treaty of Versailles was such a flawed peace. I fear that is set to repeat here.

I just finished Fall of Giants by Ken Follett. Guess I have to finish the trilogy now so I know what happens next.
