Finding 8 studies that mention the word transgender out of the thousands that NIH funded during Biden's presidency after the fact does not change what he said. He said $8 million was spent "making mice transgender" which is simply false. None of those studies were about making mice transgender. Whether he knows the difference between transgender and transgenic is still up in the air as several of studies were about transgenic mice.
And, honestly, I am perfectly fine with the POTUS not knowing what a transgenic mouse is. Just like I'd be fine if the POTUS cannot calculate the load bearing of a bridge. But, since he doesn't know, it would be better if he let scientists do the science stuff and engineers do the engineering stuff and quit trying to make everything about division.
