Citizenship for sale

Trump: "We're gonna be selling a gold card. You have a green card, this is a gold card. We're gonna put a price on that card of about $5 million and that's going to give you green card privileges, plus. It's gonna be a route to citizenship, and wealthy people will be coming into our country."

Trump simply worships wealthy people like himself.

Being pro-gun, pro-life and pro-faith sounds just like how rural Oklahomans primarily feel living in or near small towns fading into ghost towns. Being pro-education, pro-economy, pro-health care and pro-infrastructure is well down the list of their priorities in life if on there at all. For one thing, if you feel great and hardly ever sick, why be concerned about issues related to health care in the first place? So, who needs a hospital? To them Republicans can cut Medicaid all they want. After all, in Oklahoma extended Medicaid was imposed upon them.

I honestly thought there was already something like this.

I honestly thought there was already something like this.
EB-5 visa was started in 1990 and requires a $1M investment and hiring 10 people for a small company. Apparently there can be issues verifying the investment right now. This essentially raises the cost and removes the investment and hiring requirement.

WHAT THE F**K?!?!?!
President Donald Trump's video posted on Facebook of a Gaza reborn as a lavish resort replete with golden images of himself and including a beach scene with Israel's prime minister has drawn scorn and fury on social media in the Arab world.

Newsweek contacted the White House for comment on the backlash outside normal business hours.

Why It Matters

The video shows that Trump is doubling down on his proposal for the United States to take over the Gaza Strip at the end of Israel's war with Hamas, which has left the territory in ruins since the Palestinian militant group that rules Gaza launched its October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

Middle Eastern leaders have already voiced horror at Trump's idea for relocating Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan to create a new Riviera on the Mediterranean and this underlines the pressure on them to come up with an alternative plan.

The video also comes at a time that a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel remains on shaky ground, with both sides accusing the other of violating the protocols over an agreement that is designed to swap Israeli hostages in Gaza who were seized in the 2023 attack for jailed Palestinian prisoners.

What We Know

Reaction to Trump's video in the Middle East was swift and harsh.

"Man, do you think that a population which faced death for over a year under bombardment, displacement and death can be displaced with your failed plans and words? By God, Gaza will be your graveyard," wrote Omar Hussein, who described himself as a student in Jordan, in a comment on the video that got more than 100 likes.

There were a few positive voices among nearly 10,000 comments by the time of publication, such as Monica Hudson, an American, who wrote: "I want to see them live better too" and "They will thank you later."

But the vast majority of comments were negative — particularly those that came from people who identified as being in the Middle East.

Golden Figures of Trump

Trump's AI-generated video shows children leaving rubble-filled streets in 2025 and then running back to what has been transformed into a modern resort city with beachside skyscrapers. It shows images of cascading money, bearded belly dancers and Trump in a nightclub. It also shows golden statues of Trump — something that would be forbidden as idolatrous in Islam.

The closing scene is Trump relaxing on a sun lounger next to Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is widely portrayed as a devil in Gaza.

Israel's Gaza offensive killed at least 48,000 Palestinians, according to officials in the Hamas-run territory cited by the Associated Press. Hamas killed some 1,200 Israelis in the initial attack and took around 250 people hostage.

Donald Trump threatens 'nice new law' against authors, media, or book publishers to make it illegal to use an anonymous source

US President Donald Trump has threatened to create a "new nice law" to punish authors he does not like.

The US President lashed out at authors who use anonymous sources in a tirade posted to his social media platform TruthSocial. Mr Trump said he would consider taking legal action against some writers and "even the media in general."

"As a President who is being given credit for having the Best Opening Month of any President in history, quite naturally, here come the Fake books and stories with the so-called 'anonymous,' or 'off the record,' quotes,' he said on the social media platform.

"At some point I am going to sue some of these dishonest authors and book publishers, or even media in general, to find out whether or not these “'anonymous sources' even exist, which they largely do not.

"They are made up, defamatory fiction, and a big price should be paid for this blatant dishonesty. I’ll do it as a service to our Country. Who knows, maybe we will create some nice new law!!!."

As someone who read the left behind series and similar books growing up, it's wild that so many people in those circles are not connecting these dots.

Would any insurance company want to insure Trump Gaza and the rest of the development? Put Rural America first rather than Gaza First.

GOP Playbook : Just stop listening to the voters, the people and ignore them

GOP Leaders Advise Lawmakers to Simply Stop Hosting Town Halls to prevent voter backlash from going viral

Republicans returned to their districts last week only to be met with legions of angry constituents demanding answers over their acquiescence to drastic cuts orchestrated by Elon Musk and the Trump administration. Instead of actually listening to the voters who put them in office, GOP leaders are reportedly advising lawmakers to simply stop meeting with them in person.

According to a Tuesday report from NBC News, House Republican leadership has advised members of the caucus to avoid in-person town halls for fear that voter backlash may become viral if circulated online.

"I don't know that a specific edict is going to come down from on high that they need to stop or anything, but a message I believe has been clearly sent that this narrative should end very soon," one Republican National Committee official told NBC News.

Over the course of the last week, multiple Republican House members saw their names make headlines after tense confrontations with constituents in their home districts went viral on social media. Many of the complaints centered around Musk and his so-called Department of Government Efficiency, which has been conducting mass firings of federal workers, while gutting or effectively eliminating congressionally authorized programs.

Trump says Ukraine 'can forget about NATO' and slams the EU in first Cabinet meeting

Donald Trump said during his first Cabinet meeting that Ukraine can "forget about" NATO as he pointed to the Eastern European country's desire to join as a key reason for the war with Russia.

He also took aim at the European Union in a separate moment during the televised meeting, claiming "the European Union was formed in order to screw the United States" but that he would be fixing that now that he's president again.

"What concessions would you like to see?" a reporter asked in relation to the ongoing peace talks taking place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump.

"I can tell you that NATO you can forget about," was his response. He addressed Ukraine as he spoke. "I think that's probably the reason the whole thing started."

He then turned over the floor to Vice President JD Vance, who added, "As the president said, we're not going to do the negotiation in public with the American media. He's going to do it in private with the president of Russia, with the president of Ukraine, and with other leaders, and I think that's how this has to go."

In a separate moment, the president hit out at the EU, stating, "The European Union was formed in order to screw the United States. That's the purpose of it."

"And, they've done a good job of it," Trump continued. "But now I'm president." A reporter was quick to ask a follow-up question to that statement, demanding, "What will happen if these countries or the EU retaliate [against tariffs]?"

"They can't," Trump responed. "I mean, they can try, but they can't." It wasn't immediately clear what actions Trump was considering taking against the economic bloc, but he mentioned tariffs, specifically against Canada and Mexico, several other times during the meeting.

The president and his Cabinet confirmed that 25% tarrifs would begin against all imports from Canada and Mexico on April 2. The original plan was to begin the tarrifs on March 4 after a 30-day suspension, but it seems his Cabinet pushed to have that date moved back.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick clarified that they needed to show progress on stopping illegal immigration and drug smuggling first.

Trump claims border crossings have decreased drastically not because of the actions of America's two largest trading partners but because of his own domestic policies.

"At the end of that 30 days, they have to prove to the president that they satisfied him," Lutnick said of Canada and Mexico.

Q: “Is it your view of your authority that you have the power to call up all of the people seated at this cabinet table and issue orders that they’re bound to follow?”

Donald Trump: “They’ll follow the orders, yes they will.”

Q: “No exceptions?”

Trump: “Of course, no exceptions.”

'So exhausting': National security expert left exasperated by Trump's Gaza hotel video

CNN's Boris Sanchez asked national security analyst Kevin Barron to give his take on President Donald Trump's AI-generated video promoting his idea to turn war-torn Gaza "into a lavish golf resort."

The video, posted to TruthSocial, includes lyrics like, "Donald Trump set you free, bringing the light for all to see. No more tunnels, no more fear. Trump Gaza is finally here."

"I mean, how many times do we have to see something like this where, it would be comical if it wasn't so serious and so exhausting," Barron said. "These images just, you know, they shock you, and then you laugh, and then you go, what are we doing? And where are we living? And in a time where, as your previous segment just showed, the hostages are being released, we're supposed to be getting to a new ceasefire phase. We're supposed to be getting toward some kind of future for this region. The Saudi defense minister was just at the Pentagon this week, as well. So there are these enormous security concerns going on, and this kind of video just does nothing for American security or regional security."

Barron continued, "But it does show where Trump's head is, right? It shows he's calling himself King trump. He's putting out images of him as a giant idol in the middle of Gaza that looks like Vegas. Uh, I'm not sure what to say."

Sanchez added, "It reminds me a bit of when he went to meet with Kim Jong Un one on one, and he apparently showed him a trailer of what North Korean waterfront property would look like. He obviously views things very much from the perspective of of a real estate tycoon. I do wonder, though, how this sort of video lands with Palestinians...is this the kind of thing that just generates animosity?"

Barron answered, "I wonder too. I wonder how many see it, actually, who's watching Trump's Truth Social account out there right now? Go back to his original statement when he mentioned this, he was, you know, giddily saying 'We're going to expel all the Palestinians and rebuild this area to make it look o what these images look like.' And then he sees it and he, you know, promotes it just like he promotes a picture of Time Magazine for himself. Look, he's called himself King Trump in recent days. He's he's portraying himself as a savior for these areas, not for the Palestinian people."
