Fun fact. It’s being reported that a Jane Doe has filed suit against 2 banks for their alleged involvement in the finances of Epstein. One is New York Mellon. The bank is no longer owned/controlled by the family and is publicly traded.

Just so I don’t misstate what I read. I haven’t seen anywhere that a Mellon family member was involved w underage or knew what was alleged.

The lawsuit by Jane Doe alleges that the 2 banks, one of which is New York Mellon, alleges the banks knowingly provided financial services that enabled his sex trafficking operation for years. She is represented by law firms Boies Schiller and Edwards Henderson, who previously secured settlements of $75 million and $290 million with Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE) and JPMorgan (JPM.N) respectively, over their alleged financial ties to Epstein.

What is interesting is that the allegations against Epstein go back to as early as 2002. The Mellon family sold their ownership and control in 2007.

If this were say Bill Clinton, Fox News would devote 24/7 coverage to this.

So the 10% hike has nothing to do w actually achieving an economic goal for America. No modeling to see how the economy or sectors actually benefit. Nothing to see how certain industries or policies improve. No concern for how any retaliation will affect the targets.

At some point you would hope his supporters start to question the intelligence of some of his policies. But Im guessing most of them will ignore it because they would rather be upset that someone who doesn't look like them wants to play high school volleyball at some place they have never heard of.
