Trump 47

I would have been more Anti- Trump last year but I assumed he was going to be incompetent at his weird agenda like he was in the first term.

I voted on state questions and local elections but skipped the presidential vote.

Also Kamala pretended things were going great under Biden and that was concerning and terribly out of touch. She seemed friendlier to Wall Street than Main Street. If she wanted to be president, she should have announced her run in January 2024 and not wait for permission from the Democratic Party. That’s weird behavior.

There’s a lot of people like me. We’re winnable if the Democratic Party is interested.

The ball is in their court.

The arrest and deportation of people from other countries to prison in other countries plus the ordered deaths of people in international waters leads me to think about the Nuremberg trials. The idea that the National Guard and ICE taking orders and denying any form of due process and habeas corpus really needs to set off some alarm bells.

This is bs apathetic cop out talk, IMO.

What Trump is doing to America right now is more than just “weird”.

It’s dangerous.

I can't tell if this is one of your silly bits. If not, what in the actual eff is wrong with you?

You need convincing from the Dems that Trump is bad? That MAGA is bad? That the republican party is dead? That we are now living in an authoritarian fascist regime?

"Kamala pretended things were great under Biden". Please tell me, in very specific examples, how anything Biden did was worse than this? Economy? Foreign relations? Trust in the government? Destroying brown families? Sicking the DOJ on political rivals? Building his own private military to the tune of $170b?

What an absolutely stupid take. Even for you.

He lives in California so finding reasons not to vote one way or the other isn't too big of an issue compared so someone from Pennsylvania or Wisconsin. If Im being honest, all of us who dont live in swing states should consider that strategy as our votes don't mean nearly as much as they do elsewhere.

But the logic is kinda strange. If you take partisan ideology out of it, a vote for Harris was a vote for the status quo. Normally Im not going to fault people for going against that if they think things aren't going well. In this instance though, after seeing that option B was going to be less change you can believe in and more change to the behavior of a 3rd world country that punishes dissidents and enriches the elite at the expense of peasants, well give me free speech to gripe about wall street over military occupation of our cities. That shouldn't have been that difficult of a decision to make.

Marie 300 million for a ballroom-no problem. Food stamps during a government shutdown-let them starve!

Ball is in their Dems court to convince you ?? Hahahahahha

This happened TODAY ..

Stephen Miller on Fox threatens to arrest JB Pritzker for "seditious conspiracy" and says, "to all ICE officers: you have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties. And anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop or obstruct you is committing a felony."

Q: Would the administration consider putting troops on the ground in any capacity in Venezuela?

STEPHEN MILLER: These are terrorists and they're gonna be killed

I felt Trump wanted to do all the stuff he’s doing.

I figured he’d fall on his face doing it like the time he tried to organize a coup.

Also as @cowboyinexile said- As a Californian
I have a hard time voting for Harris when she refused to differentiate anything from Biden’s choices.

If she would’ve said, “grocery prices are too high? Let’s get some CEOs in front of Congress, and see why they can afford stock buybacks, but can’t keep prices under control”

If she would’ve had a plan for Israel- I’d be interested- She was nonexistent on the border so any words would have meant less than actions.

She felt rather impish, I assumed Trump would be dangerous, but grossly incompetent at being dangerous; so I didn’t feel my life would be better or worse between the two choices.

Ohh if ONLY she lied and said grocery prices will go down day one like Trump did

Daniel Dale fact-checks Trump's claims that grocery prices and inflation are down. They're still rising and are the highest since May 2024.

- Grocery prices rose from August to September
- Rose 0.6% from July to August (biggest jump in 3 years)
- Prices are up 2.7% year over year.
- 1.4% happened since January
- Consumer prices are up 2.4% since January
- Up ~3% year over year

Reasons: Labor crackdown and tariffs.

. Hitler and the Nazis had a term for modern art: “entartete Kunst” or “degenerate art”. Everything these guys are doing is straight out of Hitler’s Nazi playbook

Stephen Miller: "Democrats and the left have scarred the landscape of our country with grotesque so-called modern art that celebrities ugliness and defacement. The Republican Party under Trump celebrates beauty again. The East Wing is not part of the White House, it was a cheaply built add-on structure."

Still a cop out..

“Impish” v. dangerous, but hopefully incompetent at being dangerous….tough call.

This is an edge lord level hot take.

Have you changed your mind about whether your life is better or worse between the two choices. Trump…or at least Trump’s sycophants have turned out to be pretty damned competent at being dangerous…right?
