Trump 47

LOL, you know good and well if there were any incriminating ties to Trump it would have been exposed years ago. But keep playing dumb to fit your agenda

Whether he keeps it or not, it was still a gift to the U.S.
And if he keeps it (and he will), a gift of a billion dollars in U.S. Taxpayer money to him.

In fact, a real good legal argument could be made that it isn't a gift to the U.S. if Trump gets it in the end.

The U.S. is more of just a bailee in a real sense. A pass-through entity.

No I don't.

Neither do you.

They could have been kept close to the vest and not exposed because it also exposes high-level Democrats too.

And if there's not any incriminating ties to Trump in the Epstein files, why the 180 degree turn about disclosing them? He ran on exposing them publicly as did Bondi, Bongino, and Patel (campaigning for Trump) both before and after the election.

I could make the same argument you're making in reverse. You know good and well if there WASN'T any incriminating ties to Trump he wouldn't be trying so hard to not release them after running on doing so and having this whole show of doing so by Bondi, Bongino, and Patel.

Hahaha, good lord you twisted yourself into that logical pretzel so easily. No wonder you're MAGA.

P.S. I like you so much I've decided I'll be gifting you one million dollars. I'm going to keep it, but I promise it's a gift to you.

"Infidelity does not consist in believing, or in disbelieving; it consists in professing to believe what he does not believe. It is impossible to calculate the moral mischief, if I may so express it, that mental lying has produced in society. When a man has so far corrupted and prostituted the chastity of his mind, as to subscribe his professional belief to things he does not believe, he has prepared himself for the commission of every other crime." - Thomas Paine's Age of Reason

DHS' new ICE recruitment strategy: 50K signing bonuses, student loan forgiveness and Trump posters politico

The Department of Homeland Security is offering new Immigration and Customs Enforcement recruits signing bonuses of up to $50,000 and student loan forgiveness, as the agency — suddenly flush with cash — seeks to meet President Donald Trump’s goal of hiring 10,000 new ICE agents and deporting a million people a year.
...
Other incentives announced by DHS included enhanced retirement benefits and overtime pay.

The agency said recruitment materials would be sent out to college campuses and job fairs as soon as this week.

“Your country is calling you to serve at ICE. In the wake of the Biden administration’s failed immigration policies, your country needs dedicated men and women of ICE to get the worst of the worst criminals out of our country,” Noem said in DHS’ Tuesday press release. “This is a defining moment in our nation’s history. Your skills, your experience, and your courage have never been more essential. Together, we must defend the homeland.”

Giving a job to the son in law of his education secretary. How nice of him

That is what the con-man wants.

Instead of a broad bill preventing the rats in the ever-growing undrained swamp from profiting off of the decisions they make, he wants the bill to just target Pelosi. Which will make his crowd happy. And do not a damn thing for the nation.

I don't see any targeting in the language I've read. There are notable legistlators on both sides that have been making big money on this issue - Rick Scott from FL, for example (my state these days).

When I first checked into the Pentagon, my predecessor told me I should buy some stock in a prominent ship building co, as "they were going to win the contract" for a shipbuilding program the Navy was putting for bid that my new office funded. He told me "do it quick" before I was officially privy to information. I thought it felt shady, so passed, and the end result was that months later the contract was won by George Steinbrenner's Tampa Bay shipyards, by oiling a lot of legistlators pockets - over the Navy's objection that the shipyard was simply not capable. Fast forward 5 years - the Navy received a few barges of incomplete materials, George had the shipyard declare bankruptcy after he had skimmed off what big dollars he could. That is all easily verified. My point is - they're all hogs at the trough. At least this bill reigns them in a bit - both sides.

Leavitt: Trump doesn't want to see people enriching themselves off of public service

(Trump has made over $620 million on crypto, including from his own Trump coin, while being in office)

Talk about a logical pretzel.
By that logic Qatar gifted the US a jet but is holding on to it.

I like you so much I've decided to gift you a brain cell. But since you won't use it, I'm going to keep it, but I promise it's a gift to you.

Not smart enough to understand when you've said something completely asinine. Not humble enough to admit when you're wrong. Not honest enough to be worth debating. And not original enough to come up with anything other than I know you are but what am I. Al Gore never would have invented the internet if he'd known people like you would learn to use it.

Yeah, I'm not saying Republicans aren't on the list, I'm saying if Trump were implicated in any way they wouldn't even have to make shit up to get rid of him.

Not a single word about this from the main stream, or any of you middle of the road guys.

I'm not saying he should keep it. If he does then there should be criminal charges.

All I said was the gift was announced to the U.S. not to Trump.

@Big Huck tried to turn that into twisted logic. Then doubled down by calling it asinine.

Jesus Christ.

You serious Clark?

So there was a stash of secret documents in a hidden room in the FBI. They incriminate alot of people and those they incriminate didn't think to destroy them between November 2016 and when Trump was inaugurated. No one noticed them during Trump's first term or Bidens. Patel happened to find them (what was he exploring his building or something?) right when there is a public outcry for Trump to release documents he promised to while campaigning but now may be damaging to him. And the people getting the scoop on this are minor news sites no one has heard of before?

What sounds more plausible-everything I just wrote or that this is some sort of attempt to get peoples attention away from the Epstein files?
