Ok, what he said is stupid political hyperbole. They are really talking about limiting the payments to lower income taxpayers.

What a strange world we have become where the democrats are the high income people and the republicans are the blue-collar, but that is now the claim.

IMHO, we are too far in debt to be making payments out of income. But, if we are going to do so, it makes the most sense to give it to the working class and exclude the rich "Biden voters" instead of rewarding the "Biden voters" like the BBB did.

Yeah. The headline and intent are two different things but that was by design. My first thought was how are you going to tell who voted for who but if its income based then whatever.

Just a reminder that Hawley was the one that led the charge to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. And that was before things got crazy out of hand when republican leadership had the chance to to tell Trump to stuff it.

Hawley is also the leading GOP anti BBB bill voice in DC even though he voted for it and is working with Dems to try to get the Medicaid cuts reversed in the bill


Seems like someone learned his constituents are pissed and if he ever wants to hold any other elected position by the people of his state state that he better move way far Left REALLY QUICKLY if he is going to have any political future at all


And he is willing to burn Trump to the ground for it
