Trump 47

We are not the good guys anymore...

I hope when Trump is voted out that the next president finds these agents and fires them for cause so they get no retirement benefits etc. Which, with the way Trump has destroyed Federal worker rights, will be far easier.

So if you are a permanent resident, don't leave the country for any reason until you are ready to be kicked out. Border checks are just a chance to kick people out for no reason.

Exactly. But, they are also using other methods such as "welfare checks" mandated check-ins with ICE etc to come up with reasons to deport people even if they do not leave the country.

I knew Trump was going to be anti-immigrant. But this is well beyond what I was expecting. Going after long established legal residents, the targeting of tourists or people on short trips from EU and Canada... that has caught me by surprise

Question that I don’t know but venture to guess it will be hard to buy reasonably with China tariffs…can you buy any electronics that are not in part made with parts from China? Will electronics “stuff” get more expensive now? Our world relies on electronics now!
Furthermore, if I want to buy anything made in China, I should have that right. I’m all for made in USA, but I should have the right to decide my purchase's without paying an ungodly amount…

Outside of Apple and Klipsch, none of the Chinese stuff is worth it anyway.

Yes. We are very much not the good guys right now.

Hopefully things turn around in 4 years and the rest of the world puts this period in the past and the impacts to our world position don't linger.

So, do you think our deporting philosophy carries more weight around the world than the wars we funded/supported over the past couple of decades?
