Honestly, seeing the government renting buildings and any space they can find left and right to "return to office" people who had jobs that never were in an office in the first place will likely eat up that $150 billion in no time.

So I'm not an economic genius and haven't been in a Holiday Inn in years, but that's gonna be a massive budget issue, right? Deficit interest payments are a big chunk of the fed budget.
Yes, it will get more expensive. But, in fairness, I looked into it a little further, I think the guy made an unfair claim by giving an average interest rate over long term which was just gradually increasing rates. The spike at the very end is the tariff issue.
Possibly more concerning, but getting outside the bounds of my economic knowledge, treasury rates are uncoupling from the US Dollar. Basically making the call that the US isn't a safe haven anymore. The full implications of that, I'm not sure.
