Trump 47

You know......at some point Trumps polices are going to create some positives. My not be an overall net positive in the eyes of many, but some good will come from this.

Are you guys prepared to handle it?
Like I have told my maga friends, I hope I am wrong about trump...I hope he continues to build the economy, I hope he gets the price of gas under $2, I hope egg prices go down (actually this one is not a game changer for me), I hope US prospers, I hope he does better the 2nd time around than his bottom 5 ranking of presidents...I don´t give a rats @$$ which president helps our country, I just want me and my family to thrive...however, I don´t have much faith in a guy who only cares about himself and his rich buddies, I don´t like many EOś that he has already signed: WHO, Paris Climate Agreement, birthright citizenship, transgender discrimination, gulf of america (this one is just dumb and petty), DEI, federal workers back to work, J6ers (could be ok with some, not all), immigrants (get rid of criminals)...

Probably the opposite or at least the threat to up their funding with Russia’s own money.
That would be one of the first things he'd have done that I would truely support, but also out of character for him. But hey the defense industry has a lot of money and a lot to donate politically so maybe they bought his support.

It’s actually the most “in character “ thing Trump could do and I think that’s exactly what he will do along with the threat of sanctions on Russia’s oil companies (that are actually still in business) along with the third parties that are doing business outside the sanctions.

What? He said all campaign long that the US shouldn't be sending weapons to Ukraine, how is this in character? Or is it because he wouldn't be doing what he said for months/years?

It’s not in character for Trump to use Russia’s own money and give it to Ukraine? What are you smoking?

For the record, if Trump were to take money directly from Russia and use it to purchase arms/aid for Ukraine I'd be perfectly fine with it. That would be a perfect use of confiscated Russian funds. I don't know if there is a realistic mechanism for that to happen but we're talking what ifs here.

But yeah, he has been pretty against the war effort. Him doing an about face and getting tough on Russia would be completely out of character. Maybe he was just trying to be anti everything Biden and now is trying to figure out a realistic solution that doesn't make him look weak-cool if so but it's still not what it looked like he was going to do on the campaign trail.

I said it before. If he used Russian money to supply Ukraine that would be one of the few things that he's done that I'd fully support.

That said. It's been discussed for a couple years and there were legal concerns. Looks like they were going the route of using interest on the money vs the actual money.

Well if Biden did it, that's (d)ifferent.

Tarrio, who was serving a 22-year sentence, said members of the congressional committee who investigated the riot "need to be imprisoned."

"I'm happy that the president's focusing not on retribution and focusing on success, but I will tell you that I'm not going to play by those rules," he said in an interview on Infowars. "They need to pay for what they did."
Rhodes called for prosecution of Capitol police officers who testified against him at trial and Justice Department lawyers who pursued his case.

He alleged that officers who were at the Capitol that day – 174 of whom were injured – were responsible for the violence.

He told the BBC that he would like his group to "go back to the mission we had at the very beginning… to advocate that the police of the United States follow the Constitution and don't violate people's rights."
...

After the Capitol riot and the arrest of the leaders, the Oath Keepers largely ceased operations while the Proud Boys fractured, retreating to their local chapters and keeping a relatively low profile.

However in recent days, their channels on the chat app Telegram have been full of celebratory chatter along with barbs and slurs directed at opponents.

Members have discussed regrouping and getting involved in efforts to deport immigrants – although the legal basis for doing so is unclear.

Another great pardon
Hylton-Brown’s mother, Karen Hylton, urged Trump, in a statement ahead of the pardons, to choose a different course, according to NBC4 Washington.

“President Trump as the mother of a baby whom I love, I am requesting to speak with you privately," she said. "Please don't pardon Sutton and Zabavsky."

(ouch...basically tRump responded with the middle finger)

The police were responsible for the violence... ok that's a new take. I guess if they didn't try to protect the capital building and the members of Congress there wouldn't have been violence between them. Essebtially, if they didn't do their job we wouldn't have had to hurt a bunch of them.

In another win for the people of this country, Trump canceled the $35 insullin cap...
Wait, that doesn't help anyone. The cap was going to be an example for applying to other medications, guess that is gone now too. Ugh.
People are literally going to die because of this. Resident Maga's, please tell me why this is a positive. GoGetum will come up with some whataboutism, maybe even link it to Benghazi and Hunters laptop. JT will say "but think of the poor billionaires! Now they won't have to lose more money because people can't be bothered to not get sick!"

The apparent approach is he has to undo anything and everything Biden did, just because. Who cares if it was a good or bad change. No thought required, just undo it all, or pharama paid him and asked for this to be on the list and he doesn't care.

That was the plan during the first term, whatever Obama did, do the opposite and hope no one notices. Worked really well until they made up a fake virus that would benefit Biden unless you took ivermectin.
