Trump 47

People are literally going to die because of this. Resident Maga's, please tell me why this is a positive. GoGetum will come up with some whataboutism, maybe even link it to Benghazi and Hunters laptop. JT will say "but think of the poor billionaires! Now they won't have to lose more money because people can't be bothered to not get sick!"

Biden’s bigger health care initiatives, such as a $35 monthly cap on insulin, a $2,000 annual out-of-pocket cap on prescription drugs and Medicare’s negotiating drug pricing provision weren’t affected by Trump’s executive actions Monday.

Carry on.

In jettisoning Biden’s order to look into new ways to lower out-of-pocket spending on prescription drugs, Levitt said, it could signal that Trump is less serious about addressing the cost of health care in the U.S.

If he doesn't care about you, why should you waste your time defending him?

So why is this positive?

Good catch that the insulin cap was congressional set so it's safe until Congress removes it.

In another win for the people of this country, Trump canceled the $35 insullin cap...
Wait, that doesn't help anyone. The cap was going to be an example for applying to other medications, guess that is gone now too. Ugh.
We have a Dr and a Rx here....

What is the deal with insulin? I memory serves Trump did something with this in his first term to cap cost then Biden reversed that and put in his own in now that is being reversed.......also correct me if that wrong.......but why is insulin expensive at all? Like a huge chunk of the world is on it......it's not a new product.....it can't be that hard to manufacture......like why isn't it one of the cheapest drugs out there. I would think you could start a new company that only makes insulin and make it for cheaper than that.....get bought out by big dog if nothing else but shouldn't insulin be really cheap in 2025? Is it made out of something rare like OU fans that actually went to school there's adrenal glands or something?

Things did not go well for Trump’s lawyers during the brief hearing in Seattle, where four states asked a judge to immediately block Trump’s attempt to deny the right to birthright citizenship to children born to undocumented migrants and people in the US temporarily.

Just as Justice Department lawyer Brett Shumate began his arguments on the validity of the order, Judge John Coughenour cut in, asking him point blank: “Is this order constitutional?”

The judge again interrupted as Shumate began to respond, saying: “This is a blatantly unconstitutional order.”

“We look back in history and say ‘where were the judges, where were the lawyers?’”, the judge continued. “Frankly I have difficulty finding that a member of the bar can state confidently that this is a constitutional order.”

The "bar" refers to the American legal professional institution.

A lot of these executive actions seem like throwing something at the wall and seeing what sticks

FFS dude. Can you read?

Nobody said it was positive. I merely pointed out that the claim by several posters that Trump ended the $35 cap on insulin was incorrect and that people aren't "literally going to die" as one of the resident sky screamers so eloquently put it.
I have 2 friends, both on different life saving medications right now. Both of whom are scared out of their minds because they can't afford the $30k a month these medications would cost without being covered. So yes, people will literally die, you buffoon.

People in this country already have to choose between eating and paying for medications. But, they are the poors. So eff em.

What in the EO specifically relates to your friends medications?

Again:

I'll help you out. See the white part where it says the $2,000 annual out-of-pocket-cap on prescription drugs weren't affected? I even put it in italics for you!!!
