Yeah. The next 4 years could be rough for anyone counting on a government that is going to not be shut down.
So concerned with saving money but refusing to acknowledge that every shutdown wastes tens of billions of dollars.

I like how he wants the debt celing raised, but it needs to be raised before the inauguration. Real fiscal conservative there-wants to spend but doesn't want the political blowback for spending.
I will say credit where credit is due. A bunch of Trump's cabinet/administration picks give me the willies but his pick for Labor Secretary is interesting. I'm cautiously optimistic about that aspect of his administration.
I’ll go ahead & go on record to say; while that sounds entirely reasonable, I have no doubt Walker can find a way to F that part up!
So I’m not. But I will say who has been qualified? The guys said there were weapons of massive destruction? The guys that said you could keep your doctor? The guys that advised no new taxes? Mayorkas? The government needs shaken completely up. The baby doesn’t need to be thrown out with the bath water: I fear this bunch is a shake up on steroids…..and on purpose

Possession is 9/10ths applies to public office as well for some stupid reason. If you are already there, you tend to be able to stay as long as you want.
DOGE is billiionaires.
Just like when a company is in trouble they lay off the workers and reinforce the exec's golden parachute. If DOGE is able to do anything, it will be things like getting rid of a Social Security office in Sacramento. Ambassadors and staff won't be touched.

They are just getting the base worked up to hate Federal workers. It is the new out-group since they have used up trans and illegal immigrants.
They don't even use the term "federal worker". Each time they mention us they use "bureaucrat" as if every federal worker has a bureaucratic job. They also tell outright lies about the benefits that workers get and make claims about the work that are obviously untrue. But, having some other person scapegoated so they can hate is exactly what much of their base wants. They want someone else to be angry at instead of the ruling class who are the ones actually causing whatever economic issues they have.

It was a vote that was likely to pass easily before an unelected foreign bureaucrat got involved.

A majority of voters wanted this so we have to see how it plays out.
What the f*** we are doing is killing a 1500 page pork laden monstrosity that was an insult to anyone with even a half a brain. I couldn't care less who killed it. I'm just glad it's dead.
