Does the USF QB have another year of eligibility?
That is what has been reported though he is a legit threat to leave for the NFL depending on his draft projections. Currently he is as high as 3rd round by some.

If he’s an iffy 3rd round, he can take the check and play his way up for next draft.
Pat Bryant, Illinois, was in the same boat last year and played his way into a 2nd round pick with the broncos and he’s ballin.

I think Johnson is a very average qb who happens to be pretty fast, and that expectations beyond that are indeed crazy. Seems like opponents have figured out they can play loose pass coverage and make sure he doesn't run wild.

Don't think so. He is under contract for $5 million+ a year for several years. He could have forced a buyout of some kind, as many coaches do.
He broke down in a postgame a couple of weeks ago, & his AD is 68 & has been shopping for houses in Arizona. Supposedly there was dissatisfaction with Klieman and panic that they would miss out on Klein.
