Seems like long ago there used to be County School Superintendents. How about abolishing 551 school superintendents and have 77 County School Superintendents? But the superintendents in the smallest counties wouldn't be paid as much as the superintendents in the biggest counties.

A fun thing to do is to comment how sexy, strong, and virle he looks in his photos.

Another fun thing to do is refute the alleged stories about his body odor and how he recently fixed that.

If he wants to make public education weird via social media, so can I.

I would vote for option #3: Pay classroom teachers more.

And as Superintendent, he actually has the accountability to create a strategy to reduce administration and direct funds closer to students…but he never has.
If he’s not being aggrieved and perceuted he doesn’t get any victim currency and then must be judged on his own merits- which he isn’t confident in.

It’s a typical grifter move. It’s the straight white Jussie Smollet move to a lesser degree.

It’s wild to accuse Oklahomans of being too woke, anti Family values or not Christian enough.

He has not declared his candidacy yet so until he does he has to keep his name in the news. This stunt is campaign bait without having to pay for it.

A true leader would have used statistical data to compile a list of schools w the biggest gap between free and paid lunches and matched that up w district family per capita income. This would be one way of seeing which schools have the biggest need. Then behind the scenes work w the school admin, school board, school counselor/nurse/lunch specialist. Also include teenage leaders in the school. Come up w a cost analysis and plan. Seek out local faith leaders and non profit leaders as well as nearest food bank leadership. Actually solve the problem.

Ryan like most magastani’s doesn’t care about the kids or solving the problem. It’s just a me first approach and it sucks.

Another “keep my name in the news” stunt that will have 0.001% impact.

How many teachers in a given year relocate to OK from a state w progressive education policies? Maybe I’ll be surprised at that # or maybe he thinks KS/TX/MO/AR are more progressive than OK
If teacher pay is higher in KS/TX/MO/AR, why would teachers want to come to Oklahoma in the first place? A year ago Oklahoma was rated 43 for teacher pay.

Walters still considering run for governor, said there's no true MAGA representative running

In an interview with the News Press on Wednesday, Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters said he’s still considering a possible run for governor of Oklahoma.

Walters said the question about his possible candidacy comes up a lot when he's visiting with Oklahomans.
“We haven’t made a decision on that yet,” Walters said. “I get (the question) wherever I go, and it’s very humbling. It’s an honor to have Oklahomans (ask)."

Walters pointed out that Oklahoma is a Republican state, and all 77 counties in the state voted for President Donald Trump.
"People are frustrated. They see that there’s no candidate out there that’s backing President Trump, and backing the Make America Great Again agenda. ... They want to see that candidate," Walters said......

"it appears this alleged 'surplus' can only be derived by illegally adding all funds. Bond funds, debt service funds, student-raised funds, scholarship funds, workers’ comp funds — these cannot legally be added together and used except for their intended purpose," said Tara Thompson, chief communications officer at Broken Arrow Public Schools, who added it is demonstrably untrue that the district has a $109 million surplus as Ryan Walters told parents this week. Reporter Andrea Eger with responses from all the schools called out by Walters.
