As you would expect, it's getting ugly on Twitter/X. Weird that some actual OSU employees get in on defending Josh.

I find it somewhat troublesome the fan expectations seem to be far higher than those in and around the program. Program folks seem to be all about the regional birth streak.

Didn't realize he was draft eligible. That's not good. He would (could) be a great start to build around in the middle of the lineup.

He made a ton of money this weekend..depends on his asking price should he be drafted. If he comes back…probably will be top 100 prospect should he come back. Should be a interesting 6-7 weeks

Without knowing what is happening with the portal, how many of our incoming freshmen are expected to make it to campus?

West Virginia rallies from way back to beat Kentucky 13-12.

North Carolina loads the bases with no outs in the top of the 8th, but don’t score. The men of Goon go on to win that game 9-5. I won’t be surprised if OU wins that regional tomorrow and goes on to beat Coastal Carolina to go to Omaha. Not that I think they are that good, but someone needs to rub salt in our wounds.

Clarification on the ejection from yesterday. Kind of a bush league call and I hope it gets overturned. But listening to a coach from Duke of all places with a bunch of Ivy League transfers talking about having a blue collar team is pretty rich.

We know Josh loves Oklahoma State and of course he wants to be competing for national championships in Omaha. It’s not like he is intentionally losing in Regionals every year. I think the more concerning thing is that there seems to be no adjustments made to change the results. Am I around the program? No, but like many of us on here that watch most games and spend our free time cheering on the team, I am dejected because it seems that he doesn’t have the answers. I don’t see the year to year improvement from the players, if anything we see regression in many cases. I hope I am wrong and next season he ends our streak of regional exits but he is going to have to show me at this point.

Congrats to the team on battling to get in to the tourney and gutsy performance to beat the douchedogs, but Regional appearances cannot be the bar for Oklahoma State Baseball. I want Josh to be successful and retire here, he’s a cowboy through and through, but no one is bigger than the program.
