Has anyone seen the Utah commercial that every school airs during games. It actually welcomes the Big 12 to Utah. They may very well go out and back that up but man that makes we want to welcome them to the conference properly next Saturday.

I know nothing about their fan base, figured they would be like BYU fans, who I like. Maybe they will be insufferable instead....every conference needs a fan base like that I guess. We just lost 2 of our most insufferable fan bases.

Maybe we find out the Texas Tech crowd has a twin brother!!!

Not surprising, but Gameday is headed to Norman. Wish it could've been Stillwater, but I understand that our game is Fox's and ESPN doesn't want to cross streams like that. On the plus side, Gameday is in Norman on a day where ou is going to get absolutely smoked.

Yes unfortunately because of the contractual obligations BIG always gets preference by FOX which is why they will be in Columbus!!!

I truly cannot stand what college football has become and anyone with half a brain could have seen this coming before "NIL" was allowed. I add quotation marks because let's be real honest, the vast majority of athletes aren't getting paid for their name, their image, nor their likeness.

I think they did this as a solution to the damages awarded in the lawsuit. Not a terrible idea in my opinion.

Sure, I think that's their plan as well.

The SEC pays out $10s of millions per school annually in media rights alone. My problem is the fans are paying for this and not the organizations who have made ungodly amounts of money of off the sport.

Yeah, I get it and it sucks. But when you sell out an 80,000+ stadium and more than likely have a waiting list, it's a quick and simple way to balance the budget - so to speak.

They got to that number in part by just moving the seat number closer together and adding numbers.

There is already money for players before donor fatigue and fleecing the people that make that profit possible.
